"The cabin was amazing. The beds were so comfortable!! The first day we got there we immediately saw lots of Amish people from the community surrounding us. The nature was something else. Waking to the sound of the loon every morning was very calming. We did some minor fishing. Didn’t catch anything too crazy. Still nice to get the poke in the water. I don’t think we could say anything negative about our experience even if we tried. We would love to come back again!!"

"Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

"Loved being on the lake! Family of ducks kept us entertained. Brand new dock right out our front door. Everything was clean. Very reasonable and comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating to our needs. This property is close to town, and not far from the waterpark and brewery/winery. A great time was had by all 4 generations! ❤️"

"Simply wonderful. The memories made here will last our family a lifetime. Everything you need all in one beautiful place. Very clean, had everything you need for a getaway plus included extras. Our kids loved the kayaks and the sandbar near the island gives a great place to enjoy the water. Fishing was great! Great communication with owner, they are very sweet and helpful. Great experience!"

"The place itself is very nice, but it is old and it shows. The main level is very nice but property could have been cleaned better as we had bugs everywhere and found a dead cockroach under a couch. Also would recommend for the property manager to get more basic cooking supplies in the rental (salt, pepper, oil) as we’ve had these provided previously at other stays as well as sending out an electronic version of the welcome binder prior to arrival as there were things in there we didn’t know and...

"We (11 of us) had a great time at this property on Lake Darling. We caught sunfish off of the dock, the kids enjoyed playing in the water around the dock. We rented a pontoon from Lake Darling Resort, grilled, had a couple campfires. Weather was great as well. The only downsize is the busy road that the property is located on, could hear the traffic, but we spent all of our time on the lake side."

"We really enjoyed our stay. There were 8 of us and there was plenty of room. It was great to have refrigerators. Our only concern was the lack of washcloths. There were plenty of towels for everyone but no washcloths!"
