Might be the best Thanksgiving family vacation ever.We were a family of five adults, two teen age boys and two dogs.The host was in easy contact and helpful all the way through.House was better than as described on the website in every respect. Everyone including the dogs had a wonderful time!

This home and location are fantastic! Lots of privacy and just steps away from the beach! The house is amazing. It has everything that anyone could ask for and was very clean. The rental agency was very helpful and accessible for any questions. We will definitely come back!

Spring break!

We brought our 4 teen and 2 dogs to stay at the Knole house and we loved it! The kids had a great time in the game room and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed big breakfasts and dinners each day. So close to the beach! Thanks for an amazing few days!

A wonderful experience

We got away from town for Memorial day for a few days at the beach at the Knole House where almost anything we could think of was already provided. Sure, we supplied our own perishables, but plenty of cooking utensils, space, a game room with tons of activities, toys for our grandson, and more were available, and we could also find a part of the giant house where we could decompress for a while. I heartily recommend staying here for your vacation.

Family vacation

Very clean home with so many amenities….it rained on and off during our stay (late September) but the house was perfect- the game room was fun on rainy days- the beach and other outdoor activities on sunny days. I highly recommend checking out Cape Disappointment, and grabbing some clam chowder and driving down the beach (you can drive on the beach!) as well as clamming and a ride to Oysterville for the best fresh oysters. We are a family of 9- all mixed ages (from 10-26) and everyone had a wonderful time. The kitchen was very well stocked- and loving to cook, I had a great time being in the beautiful kitchen preparing food. The house has wonderful antiques and some beautiful stained glass windows. Views are amazing. Walk to beach gorgeous and an easy walk. I gave it a 5 star because the house was even more great than the listing. Amber from Bloomer Estates was extremely helpful and very prompt at returning my inquiries. Lovely stay. Great memories.

Perfect Winter Getaway to the Beach

We love going to the coast during the winter. I need a hot tub, and an amazing kitchen, and my boys need a game room, and this house was perfect! I cook a LOT, and this kitchen had everything I needed! The game room was not only amazing, but everything actually works (which has not been the case at other VRBO's). The location is also amazing. We could sit in the living room and watch the bald eagles play in the wind. Then a short walk over the grass to the beach, where we flew kites, took long walks, and the boys even did a polar bear plunge. The staff was also WAY beyond helpful when we had a question, and this was even during the holidays. I can't say enough about this house and our experience. We would absolutely go back!

Almost perfect!!

The house and location are amazing. We were all so impressed and comfortable during our stay!! The views were breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the ocean from the kitchen nook and the master bedroom on the 2nd floor. Dabra was amazing and provided on the spot assistance with a couple of things we needed during our stay!! The only thing that we found that needs attention is the hot tub. Only 2 sets of the jets were working and the water would not heat past 98°. Outside of that it was perfect and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you for a great 50th birthday celebration location!!

Thanksgiving Holiday

Our whole family was very pleased with the Knole House. The kitchen was well equipped, which made it easy to prepare all our breakfasts, snacks and our Thanksgiving meal. We enjoyed our time in the large dining room as a family. The game room was amazing! We actually spent most of our time playing ping pong, pool, and some of us spent quite a bit of time playing the “old school” games the arcade had to offer. The location is really nice and we loved the acreage. We could see the ocean from the downstairs and upstairs had an amazing view. The path/trail to the ocean was an easy walk, enjoyed by all. The BBQ on the covered deck worked great. The hot tub was beautiful. We took one day to visit Seaside and Cannon Beach, as they are less than an hour away. I think the one thing we would recommend is to inspect the pool sticks (for the pool table) and replace the tips/cues. It really is a great house in a nice location. My family really enjoyed spending time there. Another bonus with this house is that there is a guest house you can also rent. We did not rent the guest house, but it’s nice to know we could possibly rent both in the future.

Wonderful home and location

Really nice and private location back from the beach. The home worked very well for our family - just as we hoped. Very well managed. Had a minor issue with the hot tub that was remedied immediately upon notice. Well done!

Great layout of house and location.

This was a great place to stay. The garage was full of working things to do which was fabulous. There is a ton of toys and needed items for younger kids we didn’t need but would be nice for others. The house was in good condition with just a couple minor things missing or broken but nothing that took away from the trip. Do know that the upstairs main room we thought was a master, maybe our mistake. It is a large room office/den room with king bed put it in. It does not have a private bathroom or closet. There is one true master downstairs which is nice. It worked for us but is to note. We would stay here again.

Lovely, spacious, and private home a short walk over breezy dunes from the beach. Stunning views of nature, ample and various amenities for the younger folks, all in a finely appointed well-maintained and classic property.

Fun house for kids

This place has everything for a fun time with the family. Kids room is removed from main home bedrooms which is fun for older kids but can be difficult for the little ones. The proximity to the ocean is great, town is a short drive away.

Knole house review

The place was great for what we needed. It fit 10 people comfortably, and was only a short walk to the beach. We had an issue with the upstairs toilet leaking, and the maintenance person was at our house within 15 minutes.

AMAZING!

We had the most wonderful experience at the Knole House. We stayed for 4 days with our 3 kids, ages 5, 7, and 7. The house was incredible and had everything we could have asked for and more. There is so much to do; the game room is unbelievable! We used the hot tub multiple times a day, grilled, played with all the toys inside and out, utilized the climbing structure/playground next door, and spent lots of time down at the beach. We were lucky enough to meet the owner in passing, and it was lovely to chat with him and tell him how much we were enjoying our stay. There are ample sleeping arrangements to choose from to meet your needs. We went to the cranberry museum, spent time at Funland, and walked around in Long Beach getting fudge and ice cream. The check in and check out process was seamless. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend it!

Great House and Location

This is a wonderful vacation house and location. The place is quiet, secluded, and not too far to drive to town. There was plenty for the teenagers and adults to do when it rained, and the walk to the beach is all of 1/8 of a mile, if that. The kitchen is to die for, especially the gas stove. I've never seen so many dishes in my life, almost excessive to the point where we had to shuffle items into empty drawers just to make room in the pantry for the dry goods we brought. There seems to be some contributed spices possibly left from past patrons, but I suggest you take what you think you'll need, or buy it there and contribute to the spice rack. The only item we had to buy was regular dish soap, which surprised me since most vacation rentals come with it. I have only two complaints: 1) housekeeping wasn't the greatest. We found a dirty diaper and dirty onesie in a chest in the upstairs bedroom and cheerios in-between the couch cushions. We also picked up 2 kid juice containers out of the yard. 2) and the Livingroom furniture cushions are so worn and uncomfortable that they tilt downward. You can't sit up or lie down without sliding forward or rolling off, so we spent a majority of our time in either the rec room theater chairs or sitting in bed when we wanted to watch TV. All and all, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house and all it's stained glass work.
