The house and location were great, but the game room, a big reason we choose the house, was disappointing. The pool table had no chalk, the ping pong table had no net, the pinball machine didn't work even though we followed the directions, and the big screen projector had dozens of burnt out pixels.

Had a great time! House is oerfect for family or families. Has everything you need and plenty to do. Outside facilities were great and easy for the kids to play. Would recommend.

We had a great time at the beach house, although it is a little further from the beach than expected. The road to the beach is only 2 minutes away and that is where you can drive right onto the beach. The house was better stocked than any other VRBO I have rented and the game room was fantastic. The shed full of beach toys had everything you could think of. We enjoyed the home town flavor of Friday's Farmer's Market and shopping at the little stores. We would certainly rent this house again.

Great House with tons of Fun Activities!

We had 6 adults and 2 kids (7&9) and loved the house - great location close to long beach and beach front, though it was about a 7 minute walk to the actual beach. A nice walk on a clearly defined path paid off with a gorgeous wide beach! Amenities were plentiful, hot tub, grill, pool table,, full size arcade game (which was actually a huge hit with the adults since it featured old-school arcade games!), huge projection screen for hooking up the Switch along with plenty of bedrooms. Also a ton of outdoor activities with all the items you would need (frisbee.golf, bikes, Cornhole, a fire pit). Only downside was after we did our first huge load of laundry (the washer is huge!), the drier didn't work and as it was rainy we had to dry all our clothes inside, strewn all over the place. We did report this and communication was good with Bloomer Mangt and they did send someone out but he was unable to fix it. They also offered a laundromat card but our vision of vacation was not to spend it in a laundromat so we just dealt with it. Was disappointed to hear that they knew about it 24 hours out and didn't let us know so we could pack differently and not do that first load of wash! Besides that, the stay was excellent and Bloomer Mangt did offer a small amount back to make up for the dryer issue. We would definitely come back if the timing works out.

Winter Beach Birthday Celebration

We took a few nights away to relax and celebrate our friend with a low-key beach stay. We loved the house, the town, everything! We will definitely be coming back again

Great place for a retreat!

The view and beach access is great! Plenty of places to sleep, comfortable beds. Nice functional kitchen. Staff were proactive in their communication and super responsive. Hot tub a big bonus. Close to town which is nice.

House as advertised. Saw two black bears during our stay. Keurig needs updating as would have to manually pour in water for every serving. Loved the downstairs game room.Big yard with enough room for a future pickle ball court?

Perfect Beach House

We loved our time at Surf view 2! The house has everything we needed to be comfortable and content. The kids had so much fun hanging out in the game room! It was an easy short walk to the beach. We loved our stay!

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION

My friends and I LOVED this home. Plenty of space for everyone, and very comfy beds. We had beautiful sunset views over the coastline and had these giant 2 bald eagles who stayed right outside our house the entire weekend and they were very cool to watch. Was a brief walk to the beach. We got a bit of an ice storm (vacationing in January will do that to you) but the views were just as pretty and we were nice and cozy in the house and very much enjoyed our little mini staycation.

What fun!

This was the perfect place for our family reunion! It was in a convenient location, clean, and well stocked. The kids had lots to keep them occupied-playing games,walking to the beach, having campfires, flying kites and making s'mores. We all had a great time!

Stairs.........

Pros: This place was nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. location was great. Groomed Walking trail to the beach. Game room was great with a huge projection screen, pool table, Video arcade and stuff to keep little ones entertained. Outside games include frisbee golf, soccer? and various other games we didn't explore into. Cons: If you have elderly adults that do not handle stairs well this is not a place to book. You have 16 steps to the upper level (inside and outside) which means all luggage is hauled up and down stairs. Downstairs bedrooms are trundle beds for Kids. Screens are not on all windows and without AC.

Amazing getaway

This property was the most the most fun me and my family ever rented. So many activities and the beach was 5 min walk away. Nice clean rooms and beautiful house. Can’t wait to book again.

Misleading sketch of the home, etc.

On first floor plan, as shown on listing, trundle beds could not be raised off floor. One room was marked “King” leading one to believe the trundle beds would form a king bed. One of our couples could not sleep together. Upon arrival found that bottom portions of trundles had not been made. There was sand on bottom unmade trundles. There were screens missing from several windows. This was problematic because of flying insects coming into the house. For the couple sleeping on the trundles this was not a good experience. Recommend owner get a real king bed and functional trundles for the first floor as well as screens for windows.

Just perfect for us

We held our extended family reunion for 17 people in Surf 2 and Surf 3. Enjoyed the homes, beach, parks and town. Surf 3 is an especially nice home with recent upgrades.

Wonderful Christmas house

After not being together last year, I rented this house to have a family Christmas, including two grandkids and two grand dogs. This was the perfect place for our group. Downstairs was kid land with games, bunk beds and a small kitchen for snacks (and coffee for the parents). Upstairs were the adults without kids. The location was amazing, walk to the beach, close to town, and perfect for a late December clam dig. The house is family friendly with lots of dishes and kitchen gear, beach toys, a playground, and even clamming tools. Three bathrooms, comfy beds and a wonderful view topped the experience. We had snow for a few days, so a magical time was had by all! We will be back.

Three 60-something couples and their adult children

Three guys who have known each other for over 50 years, and their spouses of over 30 years really enjoyed this place. We vacation together because it's fun and comfortable, and this house met that standard. Our stay was a last minute "Plan B" to vacation plans that were cancelled by wildfire, but was worthy of "Plan A" status. We enjoyed the opportunity to host a rotating cast of 20-something to 30-year-old children and partners who came and left over the week. The ample parking, separate upstairs and downstairs living spaces, and direct beach access all supported some independence to young adults established in their unsupervised lives. Grandchildren might have pushed down the number of adults in the house, but we're not there yet!

Pictures don’t totally match

Awesome spot and house has everything you would need. The house itself is pretty rough around the edges and definitely doesn’t represent the IMGs in the listing. That being said we had a great family vacation.

Great spot

Really enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent with the management company. Location was great. House was very clean. Very dog friendly. Home was a bit dated and did have some wear and tear, but understand as it is a dog friendly spot.

Family celebratiom

We enjoyed our stayed. The house is well equipped with everything needed. We dont do pets and it did have some pet hairs from previous visits so some of us had allergies do to this. But we knew it was a let friendly home. Minor repairs needed. The bathroom in the hallway upstairs doesnt lock so that was a major thing that was annoying. Has a lot of bedding lots of place to enjoy a big group. Love the game room.
