Spectacular Sunsets
Quiet and secluded but minutes walk to town, the boardwalk and beach. Everything was clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could need.

Ocean view paradise
Gorgeous views and sounds of the ocean. Condo was well equipped and very clean. Bonus being pet friendly. Very good management with bloomer estates. Sheets were fresh and clean, but felt that the comforter, headboard and drapes need refreshing.

We had a great time here. Great location, short walk to the boardwalk and very close to town. Ocean view is fabulous. Kitchen is amazing and very well stocked. Nice quiet neighborhood. Even saw a few deer! Will definitely come back!

A non planned getaway

View and beach/boardwalk access can‘t be beat
We’ll decorated property with unobstructed view of ocean and boardwalk. Also easy walking distance to town so you can park and enjoy simplicity. Nicely decorated with local art. Our only minor complaint is very limited space to unpack clothes so living out of open suitcase.

My wife and I recently spent a few days at this property in Long Beach. The location is amazing with commanding views of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Great location close to town and the boardwalk. We were able to walk down the trail underneath the boardwalk to the beach to go clam digging and a quick walk to town for fun at the arcade!

Great location, great views, could use better cleaning
Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The condo is very much centrally located to everything you want to see in Long Beach, and the views are awesome. Our main issue was cleanliness. It appeared clean at first glance, but we discovered a handful of issues. The sheets on the bed had human hairs on it (we always check the sheets for bed bugs), so we had to wash all the bedding right when we got there. The bath towels are musty, and desperately need a bleaching or Lysol wash. It's never fun to take a shower, and then get stinky after drying yourself because the towels have mildew built up in them. And a bunch of dishes were dirty (like pans with eggs still on them), and had to be re-washed. We suspect that is because of the checkout policy which says you can't run the dishwasher when you leave, which causes people to just put away dirty dishes. All in all this whole place seems to need a thorough cleaning, probably on a semi-regular basis. Not sure if we'd come back until we got assurances the place was going to be better cleaned.

My husband and I were looking for a special place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The Bloomer Estates Sunset Romance on VRBO sounded perfect. We were impressed at the level of information available from Bloomer Estates prior to our trip. We received many emails advising us of trip details with links about restaurants and places to see and things to do. The Condo building is right near the beach and very secluded. Our unit was on the third floor so were glad the building has an elevator. The unit was very clean upon arrival. Supplies are varied and bountiful; the kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal if you so desire and all the cabinets are labeled so you don’t spend time hunting for things. The unit also has a convenient 1 ½ baths, a washer and dryer, cleaning supplies, and a couple beach chairs & beach linens! The queen mattress is on the soft side but we found the bed and pillows to be very comfortable. The balcony was lovely. We sat out there and watched the activity on the beach and boardwalk and the famous sunsets. There were a few downsides to our experience. There were two TVs in the unit but no cable TV service. That meant that we couldn’t watch TV in the evenings because we don’t subscribe to any streaming services and thus didn’t have access passwords. Apparently this is the growing trend among hosts. Call any restaurant before heading out. We found many of them closed on random days or the hours were different than those posted. When planning the trip we didn’t know about the weekend event called Rod Run which is the vehicular version of Sturgis motorcycle rally but for old car enthusiasts. The town was packed by Friday and nine out of ten attendees were not masked. Considering COVID and the Delta variant and with all those unmasked folks, we left a full day early. The staff was very helpful. We had occasion to contact Dabra via email and Robbie via phone and their responses were timely, helpful, and professional.

THE VIEW!!! The view strikes you as soon as you walk into the condo. The condo was very clean and well equipped throughout. It is within walking distance of restaurants and activities. We would definitely rent this condo again!

Awesome Stay
The condo is exactly as shown and very well equipped. The location has great access to the beach, walking and biking trail, and boardwalk. Just blocks to "downtown" and an awesome bakery. We did have an issue at check-in and a 7 pm call to the property management company was answered on the spot. Within minutes we had someone there to take care of the problem with a big smile. We'll be returning soon.

Great ocean views with a great sitting area looking out the bay windows. Easy walk on a good trail to boardwalk, bike path and the beach. Plenty of parking with elevator access to room. Unit had one of the best appointed kitchens we have ever stayed in.

A Wonderful Getaway
The location was outstanding: close enough to walk to town or the beach, but secluded enough to feel quiet and private. Also the view of the sunset over the ocean was unbeatable! Living room furniture was all comfortable, unit was well-lit after dark, and the kitchen was well stocked, with all cabinets labeled. We'll definitely return!

Disappointed with property
While the view was excellent and we enjoyed being away from home for a few days, there were many things that detracted from our overall vacation experience. It started when we had trouble getting into the condo since we had not been provided with clear instructions on how to use the lockbox. It just went downhill from there after we tried to turn on the living room TV and it did not work (there was no Roku account set up). So we had no entertainment in the main living area for 5 days. We contacted the property manager who contacted the owner but there was no fix and no offer for anyone to come fix it. There was no dresser for clothes in the master bedroom and although the master bath was huge and large enough for two, the vanity mirror was only 16 inches wide and did not cover the length of the vanity so it could only be used by one person. The kitchen was so well appointed with everything imaginable that the cupboards were all full and there was no place to put 5 days worth of food. We brought all our food since we did not plan to eat out due to the Covid virus. We never used all four whisks or four spatulas but we sure could have used a broiler pan. Although instructions indicated that all paper products were provided, there were no paper napkins or tissues. There were no deck chairs to enjoy the patio, and one of the beach chairs that were provided was broken. There were several days of noise directly overhead in the master bedroom, loud banging, between 10 pm and 2am that was annoying and woke us up. We had to find the manual for the dishwasher since we had never used a childproof dishwasher and couldn't get it to turn on. The remote for the LED flameless candles did not work. There were so many little things that were wrong with this place, thank goodness there was the view to calm us. We would not stay here again.

Winter Beach Getaway
Our family of 3 enjoyed our time at Sunset Romance. The condo is super clean and well appointed. The view from the wall of windows was 100% the feature is this condo. We watched the winds push storms through the whole time we were there. Our high schooler was able to Zoom the days away and had no connectivity problems. We cooked in the condo for breakfast and lunches (went out for dinners) and had everything we needed to make our meals. Overall it was a relaxing escape from real life. Thank you!

Just what we were looking for!
My partner & I enjoyed a great winter week along the Long Beach coast - condo was cozy, clean, and featured sweeping views of the boardwalk and surf in the distance. Deer wandered through here and there, a Northern Harrier swooped this way and that - a welcome change from our usual city views. Location was perfect too, just a short jaunt from the boardwalk and lovely Discovery Trail, and a very short walk right into town and a number of great restaurants and such. Wonderful place and can't wait to return.

Winter Retreat
This was the perfect spot for my own PNW winter writing retreat. No interruptions for 3 days. Beautiful, sweeping views of the ocean, beach and waves. Easy access to the boardwalk and town. There was wind and rain but the unit was warm and the fireplace added coziness and charm. Only drawback for me was the TV. Perhaps I didn't know how to use the 4 remotes but I was unable to get a regular news channel. I got streaming segments and had to switch to a new segment every 2-3 minutes while cooking. Kitchen well equipped btw. However, I wasn't there to watch TV so it was a minor drawback for me. Highly recommend.

Much needed down time.
We have enjoyed our stay here immensely and have been able to catch our breath a bit after what has been a busy year. The space itself is lovely and ocean view, breathtaking. We also walked for miles on the beautiful beach and watched beautiful sunsets from the beach and from the condo. The condo is outstanding!!! We have stayed in many VRBO homes over the last four years and Have never had a place that was this well furnished and clean. The instruction manual is very informative. Topping the list is their excellent level of communication. Not only were their responses to my inquiries timely but also handled with professionalism. They made us, the client, feel like we were their primary concern. To top it all .... view is amazing. Short walk to boardwalk, bike path and beach.
