The Park Hotel did not allow us to feel safe due to the close proximity to other rooms. We could hear everything which eliminated our privacy and we were routinely woken up, early hours of the morning to creaking floor boards from upstairs which sounds loud enough to be in the room with us. Surfaces were dirty and dusty despite the bed being very clean. The floor boards of room 4 were collapsing by the entrance of the ensuite, and the floor was creaky and raised in another corner which raised question. There were ants in the corners of the walls and mould in similar places. The toilet seat was hanging off and the view of the outside was so disgusting that we insisted on keeping the curtains shut for the duration of our stay. The carpet and curtains felt dirty to touch as we resisted to walk bare foot within the room.

Really dirty and disgusting. Smells of tobacco on entry. I understand that you get what you pay for but come on - it’s just unhygienic. No service in the building either.

Full of mould, hole in the floor, wonky bed and uncomfortable pillows. Did not have a good night sleep and wouldn’t return. Waste of my money. Room was not as advertised!

1 night was plenty. Apparantly hotel only keep 2 pillows per room and no additional stocked when hotel is full. It costs like £14 for 4 pillows in Argos, down the road, surely additional pillows should be standard? It felt like a huge hassle just asking for additional and whilst the lady was not rude, we were left to feel like we asked for unreasonble. Room itself was compact but knew it would be. Perfect location just know its not going to be your best nights sleep

The property is nothing like the photos online. The bedding towels were clean but thats pretty much it. The room was very small for a deluxe family room with only 2 plug sockets. The tv was hanging off the wall and the room and hotel is grubby and not well kept. I know that the price was pretty cheap for london and you get what you pay for but this place is way beyond that. The bathroom was dirty with no plug in the sink, mould spots around the shower a cracked tiles and the extractor fan kicked out dust and brink into the bathroom. The beds are uncomfortable with a brick wall for a view. After a long day of site seeing and the last thing you want is to go back to somewhere that is like this.

Loads of stairs up a none too clean 5 sets of stairs. We had heavy bags. Minute room, barely space to move around. Bed squashed into a tiny space. Nothing like the photo we saw. Very tiny bathroom, although adequate.
