"Nice second floor room with balcony. Front desk staff was professional and friendly. We were only there one night and didn’t use the pool, but enjoyed our view of it and saw people enjoying it. The breakfast was as described. Great location. My only complaint were the various signs warning guests for example- leave by 11 or you will be charged, take only one danish per person. I agree good manners dictate leave on time and take one, but feel the signs cheapen the hotel and take away from the welcoming feeling. Is it really that much of an issue? In my opinion people who would take extras are probably ignoring the sign anyway. Would recommend the place for the location and staff. Also love the water filtration they use."

"Great hotel, very well maintained and clean, great staff, room was wonderful. Plenty of parking, nice swimming pool, restaurant and bar(s). The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great as well! Whether it’s one night or seven, I highly recommend the Santa Maria Inn."
