"I rented this place for the pier, which I thought met all of my qualifications for a perfect fishing pier out into a bay. And it did! Over about a 48 hour period I caught between 30 and 40 speckled trout (about 1/3 on lures under lights, and the rest on live shrimp one afternoon). Unfortunately, they probably averaged about 13 inches, so they all went back in the water. Also maybe a dozen gafftops, about half of them legal. Lotsa fun."

"This is our 3rd time at this property and as always we very much enjoyed it. The house is great and everything you need is available in the unit. Very quiet and very peaceful area. Hubby enjoyed fishing on the pier and I just enjoyed relaxing for a few days. We will be back again soon."

Room is spacious with microwave, mini fridge, single serve coffee maker, electric skillet and griddle. Queen beds were comfortable and the air conditioning kept us cool. "The Pelican House is a great location, on a quiet street and is located a few blocks from the beach. The bed is comfortable. The house has everything you need besides your food and drinks. It is clean and unless it’s foggy you have views of the water from the beautiful back porch (my favorite spot). The owners are pet friendly and the Wi-Fi is great. Love this place so much we have stayed here multiple times"
