"The hotel was well situated. 15 min walk from the train station and close to restaurants, cafes and shops. The staff were very helpful. The view of the River was lovely to see from my window. "

"The gentleman who checked us in and took care of us the entire stay was so friendly and helpful!! Our room was huge and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower had amazing pressure and the water was very hot (could be adjusted easily). The grounds are beautiful and nestled right in the middle of the town on a side street. It made it very convenient to move as bout the area in minutes. They also have a restaurant, bar, and an area with different fun games to play like chess and shut the box. They we kind and honest people. My daughter dropped 70 euros while retrieving our room key and they saw it and gathered it to return to her- they could not find us to they left it at the reception desk for us with a note. Then the next day, the gentleman checked that we received it. So amazing and touching! I will definitely stay there again if we ever get back to the Loire Valley. "

"We came in winter and our room was warm, quiet, comfortable, and clean. Our host offerered a complimentary daily breakfast that was delicious and was a very much appreciated start to the day. Location is steps away from the Chateau Royal as well as many good restaurants. Highly recommend this excelent hotel."

"The room was very cold. We told the desk but nothing happened. I had to sleep far away from the window which was wet with moisture all over. I had to wear my parka to sleep. What a terrible nightmare!! I don’t go back to that hotel. "

"The location of the property was ideal. The windows look out on the Loire, and the apartment is a 5-minute walk from the Chateau and the many restaurants in the square below. Amboise is a great base from which to explore the Loire Valley, and there is lots of free public parking nearby. The kitchen is well furnished, and the seating in the main room is comfortable.The description of the apartment on the website was misleading in two respects: the website said there was a clothes dryer but there was none (and one of the two electric towel racks also did not work), and the description said that there were two bathrooms but failed to make clear that there was only one toilet (literally in a separate closet). We were also disappointed that no English-language television stations were made available."
