Only stopped for one night but had a lovely room with view over port. Nicely laid out clean room with kettle and complimentary teas coffee etc.
Only slight problem was finding parking which was on street.
Such a lovely place to stay! We had a balcony looking out at the harbor and could watch the tide come in and out. The proprietor is a very efficient, practical woman and she and her family do a lovely job with this hotel. They have an amazing chef who makes an incredible dinner menu at their restaurant. It was so delicious that we had it every night of our stay! She makes fresh orange juice in the morning for the guests. Our stay was very relaxing and this location was excellent for exploring the coast.
Fantastic location with wonderful views. The restaurant is exceptionally good but pricey, you get what you pay for. Excellent staff, especially the waitress, a student in hospitality management, very welcoming, helpful and pleasant.
Excellent breakfast, everything homemade or local and of superb quality.
Comfortable room, good balcony, very clean.
A few little niggles in the room, the light over the shower didn't work, the shampoo dispenser in the shower had not been topped up, the headboard creaked badly.
There was a lot of chatter outside the hotel late at night which was a bit disturbing but not the fault of the hotel.
There are four floors and no lift, so this is a difficulty for people with restricted mobility. This could be made clearer at the time of booking. In spite of these few things, a very enjoyable stay.
The view from the top floor balcony was excellent , unfortunately four flights of stairs to get there .
The breakfast was well below average which is surprising given the reputation of the restaurant .

We enjoyed the views, the facilities, the cleanliness, comfort and the welcome.
We were on the top floor, and we had to use the stairs.
We would go there again
