Room was clean and staff was great. Very friendly and I could tell they cared about my stay. Hotel was under renovations, but I loved the old style feel of the place !
It was fun to stay in such an old exquisite hotel. The owner was very helpful and escorted us to our room. The Wi-Fi password was easily obtained. And the beds were very soft and cushioned and received a great nights rest.
I loved staying at this hotel. The couple who own this are friendly and their vision for this building is charming. Will stay again, cant wait to see the progress in the renovations next time!
Overall, great property. Bed was very comfortable.

While The Fallon Hotel is still a work in progress, the exceptional customer service made a strong impression. The southern style food at the in house restaurant was very tasty. I can see this hotel becoming a top destination once the construction is complete.
I liked the historic nature of the building even though it was old and needed more remodeling work in a way that maintained historicity.

My family and I in town for a football game. Despite the renovations in progress we were very pleased with properties cleanliness, spacious rooms, excellent staff(kudos to the owner that made us feel at home) and very good food. Will most definitely be going back next time we’re in town.
Property is a work in progress, with a welcoming proprietors. Beautiful river views within a short walk.

The location is great, there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance and there’s a nice trail along the river nearby. They seem to have a lot of events, so when the check-in clerk saw how tired I was after a day of driving, they very thoughtfully changed me to a room further away from the noise. However, when I woke up early and went down, there was no one at the desk or answering the phone and the front door was locked and seemingly couldn’t be opened from the inside. I had to find a side door in the bar to get out, and when I came back an hour later it was all still locked and empty, so I just left my key at the desk.
This place is a dump. Like a flophouse from the 50’s. My room was ancient, bathroom dirty and falling apart. The hotel itself resembles a tenement.
The staff is very nice though.

Two Nights at the Fallon
The owners of the Fallon Hotel are delightful. The historical building is very interesting. It would have been nice to have cups to go with the coffee machine, and easier parking. My bed was very comfortable, but I couldn't get the TV to work. Overall, I was pleased with my stay and would go back again.
We were planning to go to the Penn State Iowa game but the hotels in State College were exorbitantly priced, so when we found The Fallon that was 45 minutes away at an excellent price we were thrilled. And then we met the owner and staff onsite and were delighted. The building is incredible, the bed and linens were so comfy. The room had 15 ft high ceilings! So much historic charm. I'm recommending this hidden gem to all my alumni friends!
The Fallon is in a very historic building (built in 1854) and has a rustic charm. My fiancé and I are very interested in historical buildings and loved all of the original hardware, old hardwood, etc. The family who owns this hotel are very hospitable and down to earth. The bar experience was very cool.
With that being said, if you are looking for every modern amenity that a chain hotel has, this place is not for you. If you want to stay somewhere with a unique old-fashioned feel with a very personable touch, then this is the place for you!
Could not connect internet. Tv didn't work. Drunk karaoke singers audible much of the night. Hot water...eventually. Bare bulb fixture. Room barely bigger than bed. Rain noise on window a/c unit very loud. Bed was comfortable.
All of above, I arrived at 2pm to check out hotel and maybe check in early and the doors we're locked. I saw a gentleman outside loading supplies out of a truck into hotel side door he told me oh check in isn't till 4pm. So yo can't even get in lobby till 4pm. At least you can get in the lobby of motel 6 early. I prepaid $418.00 for two nights. I got old claw tub with a shower curtain hanging on a frame attached to the ceiling by a old chain and screw hook, a sink that had no stopper and a rusted out drain. A space heater on wheels if I needed it the AC was a portable one that sat on the floor with a 6 foot hose going out the bottom of the window through a piece of plywood. All the walls had peeling paint and fixtures had old paint over them. The TV, space heater and AC were all hooked together with a extension cord hanging in the middle of the room. There was leak in the lobby roof above the desk with a tub catching the water. The steps going up to the room from lobby were old and slick definitely a hazard. The heat that was in the room cam through a 3-4 inch hole in wall next to bed with screen over it and no thermostat or way to control it. When it did kick on it sounded like a plane engine started up. Personally I am a retired veteran with 30 years of service and if I was in charge of something like that I'd blow it up! My favorite was a 1x6 rough cut peice of wood trim that ran halfway up the wall to secure the deadbolt and extra security slide with different screws
My room the bathroom door can not be close,
Too noisy from there bar, rooms appearance was really old and and not comfy plus the amenities deposit was more than the price of the room charge
I deserve a discount or something we stay in the hotel cause was already paid and had no more option but will never recommend for any to stay
How can I stay in a room were bathroom door can not be close so no privacy for it

Historic and quaint, but comfortable and cozy.
Im a sucker for historic buildings and the Fallon is just that. Its not for everyone. The building is under renovation and i hope to see more good things from the owners. Its a 1850 build and a historic marker, which means i expected rugged walls and old wood floors. My bedding was clean and probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds Ive ever slept on. The room was basic, bed, chair and foot stool, dresser, and tv. Bathroom has the old victorian vibe, however may be challenging for elderly to get into the shower as it was a knee high metal tub with a suspended shower curtain and no hand rails.
The front desk crew, who I assumed were the owners, were extremely friendly, welcoming, and respected privacy. The building is in a great location, a few blocks away from many local taverns and eateries. The Fallon itself has attached night life which may make your stay alittle louder if they have entertainment. But I enjoyed the added fun.
Overall a great historical find in Lock Haven. I wish best of luck to the owners in their renovation endeavors.
This is a hidden gem and I can't wait to see what it becomes as the owners finish the renovations. The hotel is an 1800's historic hotel that was commissioned by the Queen of Spain, however had fallen into disrepair.
The new owners are a young couple, one of whom is a Navy Veteran, that have a great vision. If you want a modern, fancy hotel with a lot of bells and whistles...this is not. If you want a really unique, beautiful hotel...this is for you. One of our rooms had a steam bath and fireplace, the other had a claw foot tub.
There is a lot of construction going on, but to us we didn't see that as an issue...it makes us admire their drive on restoring it.
Great bar.
We go to at least one football game a year in the area and I am looking forward to how it improves between now and then. I highly recommend it.
