My daughter (8) and I stayed for a little getaway. Great location, very helpful staff, breakfast selections were amazing. It was a little annoying that the coffee pods in the room were charged however coffee supplied with breakfast.
The cleanliness in the room however was below par, behind the tv was a cloud of dust, the shower was a little grime around the seals, sink needs a good clean underneath and under the beds need a good sweep and mop.
Aside from the cleaning standards it’s a good 3 star and the Michelin star restaurant was very good. A little too fancy for kids but great for me!

From first booking, Marc's communication was excellent. The castles location is oustanding being some considerable distance from any major road making it an excellent place for peace and tranquillity. The only sound was cowbells and local wildlife .
