Spring Break in Little Torch Key

This is by far the best property we've found in the Keys. The layout was perfect for our group and the outdoor space was amazing. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely stay here again when we come back.

Family Christmas

Awesome property - everyone had plenty of room and never felt crowded. Amenities were endless. Welcome basket was nice. Plenty of everything from dishes to silverware- to pots/pans to towels. Location is perfect~everything was within great proximity. The warm pool was enjoyed by all.

Family Vacation

Great property and location. House is designed and built perfectly for family or multiple couples. It has all the amenities you could hope to enjoy. Great hosts and very helpful. We left a couple of articles of clothing and they graciously sent them to us. Highly recommend.

First Class Property!!!!

This property has it all! From the pool to the dock! Even has a large ice maker and a bait freezer! Left our boat in the water all week. Great location! This is our second time staying in the Sterling bay house and will definitely book it again in the future!

Amazing property

Words do not do this property justice. The home is spotless and significantly well appointed with everything you would require. Paddle boards, kayaks, beach bikes, fishing rods, and everything you can think of inside the home. The grounds are meticulously maintained and the pool is awesome. The home is large and our party of 7 had plenty of space to socialize if we wanted to and disappear if we needed some quiet time. The hosts, Steven and Whitney are super accommodating and just a pleasure to deal with. The long dock is an amazing place to fish or just go out and relax and take in the beautiful views. Great location and close to good restaurants and a grocery store. We will most definitely book again.

AMAZING

This house is perfect! We were a group of 3 generations, ranging from elderly to teenagers, enjoying a one week stay. It was the cleanest rental house our family has ever stayed in. From the moment you walk in, you can tell that the hosts take pride in this property and have thought of everything. From a fully stocked kitchen to serve and enjoy meals, to having a beautiful ocean view, along with ocean access and your own private beach, to the perfect area to relax with plenty of seating options in both the sun and shade. It has kayaks, paddle boards, and plenty of other options to entertain the kids (and kids at heart). There really is no reason to leave this house during your stay.

Another Perfect Year at Summerland House!

We had another amazing stay this year! Such a wonderful house for the whole family! It has it all from stunning coastal views, private beach and pool! Very close to local restaurants, snorkeling, a great dock for a boat and fishing. The house is tucked in, and perfect o just relax with a tropical drink in hand! They also have kayaks, fire pit, and a room downstairs, with all kinds of fishing gear, poles, big coolers and amazing Ice maker. Perfect for a big family or group, every room has a bathroom, towels for inside and out! Wonderful game room, spacious kitchen and living room! The hosts are incredibly responsive and always make us feel right at home!We can't wait to come back next year!

This place is amazing and fully equipped/outrigged. The listing is exactly as stated and beautiful. Very active marine wildlife and warm clear Florida key's water. Owner is very responsive and nice. Kiki's just a two-minute walk away and great restaurants a very quick drive. Everyone in our party was amazed, had a blast, and were sad to leave. I can honestly say that it is the best property I've rented.

Living the Life!

We loved every minute of our stay at Sterling Bay House! The house is a well appointed fulfilling all our needs! We were nine adults and five kids. There were fun things for the kids to do. The kids (and adults) loved the pool, we enjoyed being on the dock and fishing, enjoyed all the games for the outside, enjoyed the kayaks. We had iguana visits and key deer! We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect Paradise

Perfect vacation for our three families! The house was gorgeous and well stocked with all of the nice little extras! Excellent Venue

The Sterling Bay House was absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Our daughter had a small family wedding at the venue and it was absolutely gorgeous. The owners were very friendly and timely in responding to any questions we had and even went above and beyond to have all the dinnerware, glassware and silverware for the event. The location was very convenient to restaurants and stores and only a half hour or so to Key West.

Kansas/Texas Annual Keys Trip

This is year four for our annual family Florida trip and year two at Sterling Bay House. We LOVE this house! The area is nice; the house is beautiful and clean, full of the necessary amenities, and conveniently located. It’s a mini resort that we call home for a week. Exceptional property

The Sterling Bay House was just perfect for our family Christmas in the Keys! Lots of space and a well appointed kitchen (with two dishwashers!) took care of all our needs inside. Outside, the property absolutely shined: pool, cabanas, grill, dock, paddle boards, bikes, kayaks. They thought of everything and we had a wonderful family holiday. Thank you SBH!

Practically perfect in every way!

What a blessing for our group of friends and family to gather and share time and space at Steven’s home. From start to finish it was easy, comfortable, and luxurious! The home is immaculate and full of sweet creative details. We were a group of 12 with ages 7-75 and everyone had everything that they could need or want! We would love to return again for more fun:)

The best house and property

We have stayed at a lot of houses together with our cousins and this was probably our favorite! The house itself was gorgeous and clean with every appliance and thing you could need. The owners really put thought into every detail. The house was decorated beautifully. The beds were super comfortable. The pool was incredible. The beach area and dock were so much fun. We enjoyed snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, and playing darts and other games. Thank you so much! We would love to come back.

Fantastic house with all the amenities!

Wonderful home! Great location, close to Key West and Marathon. Neighborhood is quite and has a wonderful restaurant Kiki’s that you can get any fish you catch to fix any way you want. The house has a bathroom for every room, very spacious kitchen. Clean, great beds and spacious. Wonderful game room with beds. The outside is magnificent! Huge bar w ice machine, poles, kayaks, a corn hole area and fire pit! We love to fish, has a long dock. This is our second year, and hope to come back next year! Would definitely recommend!!

Paradise Found

We can’t begin say enough about our family’s vacation stay at the Sterling Bay House in Little Torch Key—it was amazing! The entire property was absolutely beautiful—the house itself & the views from the house, beach & pier were breathtaking. Our group included all ages from 5 to 60s—there was something for everyone. Our host Steve was very prompt & accommodating, his recommended support & activity staff, shopper Julia & boat captains Ray & Leah, were excellent. We enjoyed just the property itself: large heated pool, sand, snorkeling, kayaking, pier fishing (bait shop close by) or just watching—sea turtles, shark, barracuda, puffers, parrot fish, iguanas, dolphin at night.

Sterling Bay House The Best Vacation

Amazing property-beautiful home, amenities, & views. Outstanding pool experience - kids & adults. Relaxing times on the pier, beautiful views, magnificent sunrises & sunsets. Game room activities were a hit for all. Walking distance to Tiki’s Sandbar & Grill - great food and music. Abundant walking/running/biking routes. Named friendly resident Iguanas (Larry, Lucy, Leonardo). Kayaks & Paddle boards added to a wonderful experience. We chose this property to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with children/spouses & grands. Definitely would book again and highly recommend as a top rated vacation spot. 5-STAR+++

OUTSTANDING!

Our entire family (8 adults and 8 kids, ages 5-11) stayed at SBH last week and loved every moment!! The house and outdoor living space are even more beautiful than we could have imagined. The house is stocked with amenities, well organized, beautifully decorated but also extremely comfortable, and there was so much for us to do! The views are outstanding and we loved getting to enjoy both sunrise and sunset. We rented a boat for the week, which was made easy due to the well equipped dock, and also highly enjoyed paddleboarding and kayaking with the provided equipment. The hosts truly thought of everything, and were also very kind and helpful whenever we had questions. We have already recommended this house to several friends and cannot wait to return!

Dream Home, Dream Wedding

I can’t say enough good things about this home. You can tell the owners put their heart into this place. Every guest loved each room. The view… it was like living in a postcard for a week. Even our Instacart deliverers wanted to take pictures of it! My husband and I got married between the palm Trees. We had only our closest family members there. We laughed, cried, danced, swam, saw a manatee at the end of the pier, and just had the time of our lives. We would absolutely love to come back and stay on this property. You won’t be disappointed. Oh, and Chef Heather, you rock! We are so blessed with so many beautiful memories from this trip. Thank you for letting us enjoy your special place!

2/2/22 wedding

We were blessed to have the opportunity to stay at this beautiful house. The owners are absolutely amazing and were very attentive to questions before and during the stay. they provided us with a nice house warming gift. When we first got there it was unseasonable cold and windy. Julia did a great with area information and groceries as she was able to have our fridge stocked before we got there. The house is perfectly decorated with an amazing atmosphere, at night the pool is lit up and we had a fire going. Big beautiful kitchen. It was nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom which had shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. There was ample parking for multiple cars. It was nice to used the bikes to go on a bike ride. We did rent kayaks and paddle boards from florida keys and kayaks, which they delivered and pick up from the property. The pictures that are online do not do the property its true justice on how beautiful it was down there. We were able to have our wedding right on the property between two palm trees with the water in the back ground. we catered our wedding cake and food from Publix which was very good! we went to the turtle hospital which was a lot of fun. But the kids and the family had the most fun spending the day at the pool, playing games in the sandy back yard( football and corn hole), playing cards, relaxing enjoying the sun!!!. there was a nice fish cleaning area, as we tried to catch fish we were unsuccessful. I hand the opportunity to talk with the owner which is a great guy and their future plans for an already amazing place. future renters you will not be disappointment. I would not second guess staying here. WE WILL BE GOING BACK FOR FUTURE VACATIONS!!!!!!

Wonderful week

We loved our time at SBH. The house was perfect for our group and amazingly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked (with instapot and air fryer, which got daily use). Plenty of storage containers for leftovers also. I’m super picky about beds and pillows and both were absolutely perfect. Everyone agreed that their beds were very comfortable!! We only had one complaint-we arrived on a Saturday and left on a Saturday and of the 5 week days, for 3 of them we had various ground maintenance people who would show up. We fully understand things need to be attended to but a heads up would have been appreciated. One of the days, a grounds crew was there for over 2 hours trimming the palm trees and using the wood chipper to dispose of it. Definitely not what I would have expected to deal with when paying the nightly rate we did. The house was not booked the following week so would have been nice if that had been moved to a time there were no guests. The beach area is great for wading and looking at aquatic life but that’s about it. Warning to stay in the sand area-my husband stepped where the grass was along edge and promptly sunk to mid-thigh, lost his shoe, never to be found again. The paddle board, kayaks, and bikes were great. All got plenty of use throughout the week. Two last heads up that we were slightly surprised by but not a huge issue for us. Significant flight of stairs up to property so anyone with mobility issues should be aware. Secondly, Kiki’s bar and grill, two properties down, has 7 days a week live music from 7pm-11pm. No peaceful nights sitting outside but not overly loud either-more just one of those unexpected things for the price…. All in all, I would definitely recommend this house. Had a great time with our adult children and their families.

Gorgeous Island Getaway

We stayed in this beautiful home with 11 relatives celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday. We have some picky relatives who want the highest end spots and this house and location met and exceeded our expectations! The house was beautiful inside and out with high end finishes but also was comfortably furnished such that we could all hang out together. The pool area downstairs and the location on the water could not be beat! The owners were incredibly responsive both before our stay as well as during when we had a few questions - they wanted to ensure that we truly had a wonderful stay, which we did!
