「SUCH a clean room. As a clean freak myself, I was delightfully surprised at how clean the room was. Upon entering, it smelled wonderfully fresh, and everything was spotless. There was a Dairy Queen right across the parking lot and a small bar across the street. I did not visit either of those, but it was good to know those quick options were available. I was passing through on a long trip and was looking for a place that was safe, clean, and dog-friendly, and this fit perfectly. 」

「We had a really disappointing experience with Powhatan Motel. After driving 16 hours on a long road trip, we arrived around 3am expecting to check in, since the motel clearly advertises a 24-hour front desk and check-in availability after 4pm. Unfortunately, that was not the case. There was no one available at the front desk, no way to check in, and no communication whatsoever from the property. We were completely exhausted and left stranded in the middle of the night with a valid...

「Everything was good. What should be expected 」

「The town and the inn were beautiful! We had dinner at the tavern connected to the inn. Then we walked to The Creamery (delicious). The room was very nicely done and had little extras (popcorn and candy from a local business). The whole place seemed like a Hallmark movie inn. Definitely stay there again!」

「Very clean, host stayed in contact Really nice place just to get together and visit. The only thing beds were little to firm for our liking and the trains coming through at night!」

「Host was excellent and responsive to questions. The loft was just as pictured. Very clean, nicely decorated and equipped. Would return and recommend. There’s a couple bar/restaurants a block away with good food/service. Also an ice cream and burger place less than a block. We had a great stay and enjoyed the town. 」
