This place is next door to an amazing Italian restaurant, and we were able to walk to the Keukenhof gardens nearby. The staff was very friendly and walked us back down the end of the street to show us where 5 other restaurants were, as well as walking us to our room to show us how to use the key to turn the lights on, and where the password to the internet was. Wonderful experience and comfortable pillows and bed.

Great Place with a couple of drawbacks

This is a very nice spot with 15 minute walking distance to Keukenhof. Also, the Bloemencorso Bollenstreek parade route passes directly in front of the hotel. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was nicely updated. Staff was very friendly. Some drawbacks to considerr. The lobby is not connected to hotel and is part of the attached Duif Hotel so you have to go outside to get to the lobby which is somewhat awkward. Also, there aren't any physical keys to the hotel or room entrance. There is a code that you need to use from your phone to enter in to each door. You will need to make sure you have enough battery and/or data on your phone to make this work. Lastly, the hotel doesn't have any elevator so I would not suggest this for anyone who has problems with climbing stairs. This was great for our most of our needs but I wish we knew that there wasn't an elevator. We likely would have booked a room elsewhere.

We liked our stay and the lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable. The kitchenette was really more of a coffee bar than anything with a hot plate or microwave or frig which might be expect in a kitchenette in a US hotel but it was fine for us and all we needed.

Good location comfortable nice room

Boutique Suites the room was very nice but we were at the front of the building which overlooks the alley way. There is an Italian restaurant opposite and this can be noisy when they are clearing out the empty bottles and moving trolleys after 10 pm. Not the fault of Hotel but can be noisy with people walking through speaking loudly late at night.

It’s ok…….

I appreciate that this is a suite type of hotel, but without reception, it makes the whole process very difficult. Stayed for a couple of hours then booked somewhere else.

Others have remarked on the noise level and I think the hotel must have responded as there were earplugs on the bed! There is a late night bar, party 'tent', next door and it is noisy but we did not find it too much of a problem. The room is large and nicely furnished. The kitchenette has fridge and tea/coffee facilities but no hob. The location is so convenient for Keukenhof (we walked in 10-15 mins) and Lisse is a nice small dutch town to wander around, with some good eating options. Bikes to hire everywhere :-)

Very big room, excellent bed, nesspresso, fridge, tea, good towels and bathroom No lift, my room was front corner (101) and was very noisy... Ear plugs were on the bed, so probably problem is known. Had troubles to sleep till very late, also afternoon. I rated it 3 stars instead of 5 only for this reason. Probably other rooms are much quieter.

There is a real noise problem, that they are not addressing. There has been no answer to the following: Hello Thank you for the response. It is much appreciated. However, although very reassuring what you have put, it is worded as if you were not aware of it? This is incorrect as I did see some previous reviews on the noise level, which also dated back some time. We also spoke to the receptionist who was also fully aware of it and lastly you had put ear plugs in the room, which is the first time we have ever seen that! You may say if I had seen the reviews why did I go ahead with the booking? I assumed being a responsible hotelier that it had been sorted. How wrong I was. I would like to know how this is going to be improved for future guests as I would not want this to happen to others, who are trying to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. I would also like to be compensated for my stay. Based on the above I will then do my official review. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to hearing from you. Séjour agréable !

Le séjour est fort agréable, la présence d'un parking proche est un plus non négligeable aux Pays-Bas. La propreté est au rendez-vous et la chambre fort confortable. Séjour parfait à une exception, le bruit extérieur est vraiment très bruyant et peu confortable. Une impression de déménagement, ou de personnes dans les rues alcoolisées qui crient.. L'hôtel n'y est certainement pas responsable, c'est pourquoi je maintiens ma note à 4/5 mais je préfère vous le signaler.
