I've stayed in a lot of locations across the US and this is the 1st of 2 terrible experience out of 3 Vacasa locations, but never-ever did I stay in one that didn't have a mattress. I left early from a 5 night stay after I tried to sleep on the boxspring the first night. I thought about buying a topper from a bed store but really was that my responsibility!? The hairdryer wouldn't work by the sink but the outlet did by the front door so I sat on the floor to dry my hair. The shower head screamed like barely letting the air try to escape from a party ballon. I was ready to slit my throat in about 45 seconds but with the low water pressure so low I would have left a lot of blood spatter for housekeeping & the place was really nice & clean when I arrived. The 200 lb dog below me barked & the guy spent several 10 minute session coughing up a lung. The fireplace was a nice touch & it actually worked. I'd have enjoyed it if there were a comfortable bed to lay in or cozy chair anywhere in the room to sit in. The view was great of course, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the building or the room. I have almost 1,000,000 viewers on my Google account as a local guide ... it'll be interesting to post the images & a review for a place not having a mattress, especially when what you do at a hotel is sleep. Hopefully you got a bit of a laugh outta my painful experience so you can decide for yourself to give it a try, or pass to the next !
