"Staff especially Lhynne was wonderful but overall amenities and property management including food options is very poor. New Year’s Eve event was horrible, most of the things promised didn’t happen & food left a lot to desire for. Overall not a world class 3 star resort even. The staff however are polite and tried their best to provide a good experience but they are constrained by the amenities & what’s available for them to do. Overpriced for a resort of this quality. "

"Such a cool place. Its got a great location to base youre travels from and a super cool and helpful staff if you need anything. Everything here has really been thought out well by the staff and management. They also are doing an expansion of the premises in this off season that looks like irs gonna be awesomene. The other really cool thing is its all off the grid on solar and has its own wells. Pair that with the great food and amazing staff makes this a go too for my EL Nido based trips"

"Our flight was redirected from El Nido to Puerto Princesa, and we had to waste 6 hours of travel time, and we also had to endure a con artist of a driver which the airline had to employ. Despite all of that inconvenience, I have nothing but praises for the accommodation, for the service from staff and the ambience. Staff was extremely helpful. Special mention to Rubick, who was kind, professional and his customer service is excellent. Such customer service is surprising these days. The hotel has direct access to the beach, close to a lot of restaurants and different shops. Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and quiet. We also had access to the shuttle service which saved us some money when we needed to go to town. We definitely would recommend Huni Lio. Thank you for the experience."
