This hotel was absolutely perfect. We loved everything about it and will be back. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, it had fantastic restaurants and pool area, the staff was so helpful and friendly. It had everything we needed and more .

I recently stayed at the Royal Apollonia following surgery at the GMI. Paulina (the Operations Manager) was fantastic in ensuring the room allocated to me was appropriate for my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort at the hotel throughout my stay. In fact, all of the staff were wonderful in ensuring that I was well taken care of, in a friendly and very hospitable manner. Paulina really takes the time to get to know her guests and look after them hence the high number of very loyal repeat customers that I met at the hotel. Bus stop right at the hotel entry made commuting into town very easy & affordable.Beautiful seafront views from the superior Seaview room were wonderful to enjoy every day too. I look forward to returning again soon to Paulina and her wonderful team at the Royal Apollonia. I can’t thank them enough for the kindness they extended to me as a solo traveller during my recent st

I loved the hotel but my only complaint was the food at breakfast was Luke warm Also the fried eggs were cold and the chef wouldn’t cook fresh for me I was told that “ eggs are there” Although we laughed at her sternness it isn’t what I expect from a five star and think hotel should make its mind up if it wants to be fully inclusive or b and b as too many rules and regulations for guests The towel card is a joke!!! I have stayed all over the world at top hotels and never been expected to prove I’m returning a towel

Nice relaxing stay

We landed very early in Larnaca Cyprus and had to wait till 2pm in the Royal Apollonia hotel lounge to get a room, which wasn't optimal, so the very next day the hotel manager, responsible for booking, kindly upgraded us to an ocean front view (an absolute must for this hotel) The rest of the stay was amazingly taken care of by a wonderful staff, attentive to our needs. A special thank to the remarkable headwaiter Costas, for his attention to details during our breakfast and dinner. Another thanks for an extremely difficult but well done job by Yiorgos, the service manager, who solved all kinds of issues arising daily. The 3 restaurants pretty young headchef Panagiotis, was remarkably flexible and creative, in the making of our special diet menu (gluten free dairy free) and produced some excellent dishes. Paulina was such an understanding and caring food manager too. All together I would recommend this hotel. Nice beach (dark sand and rocks beware). Great clean swimming pool with a bar, a jacuzzi and one pool for the little ones. Impeccable constant cleaning of the surroundings. I woke up at 5.30 am to watch the sunrise and the staff was actively cleaning the sunbeds, umbrellas, staking towels etc...This place had everything needed to enjoy ourselves and de-stress from our busy life. This experience made us want to try other locations from that chain...

Sehr schönes Hotel mit exzellentem Service und vielfältiger Gastronomie ​Das Hotel bietet verfügt über drei Restaurants. Das Hauptrestaurant überzeugt täglich mit einem abwechslungsreichen Buffet inklusive lokaler Spezialitäten, Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarischer Auswahl – hier findet jeder das Passende. Zudem gibt es ein japanisches und griechisches Restaurant mit Menüs. ​Zur Erholung stehen zwei Pools zur Verfügung: ein großer Pool mit integriertem Whirlpool sowie ein Kinderbecken. Vom Hotel aus hat man direkten Zugang zum Meer, wo kostenfreie Liegen und Schirme bereitstehen. ​Die Zimmer sind schön, sauber und geräumig. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich, schnell und äußerst zuvorkommend. Wir haben unseren Urlaub dort sehr genossen und können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

I had a good stay at the Royal Apollonia. The location is excellent, right on the seafront, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff were generally polite and helpful, and the facilities, especially the pool area, were enjoyable. However, the pool beds could do with upgrading their comfort as they were rather worn and sagging which was not conducive for those of us who needed more stability for our backs.

Vi bodde på dette hotellet i 12 netter august 2025 og hadde 1/2 pensjon. Strålende fornøyd med oppholdet på alle måter. Veldig god service både av resepsjonister, ansatte i restaurant og generelt annet servicepersonell på hotellet. Maten var variert og med svært god kvalitet. Uteområdet med beliggenhet nede ved sjøen og privat strand til hotellet med gratis solsenger og basseng var meget bra. Enkelt å ta buss fra hotellet, busstopp rett utenfor og hyppige avganger til for eksempel gamlebyen og kjøpesenter.

Internet connection was fast enough and reliable. Room was clean and had lots of space in wardrobes and drawers. Bus 30 traveled every 10 minutes along the beach road. Pool was good and deep enough (1.40m or so for swimming) and shallower side for children and another pool for even younger children. Sauna was warm enough (80 C) and there was a bowl for throwing water on the stones. There was also a steam room. The inside pool temperature was 27 C which felt a bit cold compares with the sea (maybe like 28-30 in August) or the outside pool (maybe 34-36 or so) but thanks to sauna it wasn't too bad.

The Royal Apollonia truly feels like home. This is our fourth visit in just one year from New York, and every stay is just as special as the last. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, always making us feel like valued guests the moment we walk through the door.
