The location is good - very close to Formosa Boulevard Station & Liouhe Night Market. The hotel is newly renovated. The room is clean & big - It can accommodate a small square dinning table for 4 pax & with my (standard size for checked) luggage opened on the floor. The staff are nice & helpful. The breakfast is acceptable & ‘fit for purpose’ but the dinning hall is big so no need to queue up for food/tables in the morning. The key drawback is the surrounding, a bit shady & dark with cars & motorcycles running around. However, taking into account the overall price, it is the give & take. (Basically, this hotel is managed by Ever Luck Hotel next to it & they shared the same reception.)

Great little boutique but modern hotel with free car park. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious and I loved their complementary afternoon tea light buffet. The location was unbeatable, within a few minutes walk to the famous Liu-He night market and lots of good restaurants close by. Will stay again

first time to stay at Grand Hi Lai Hotel, Front desk is very helpful and nice. I'm very happy that the hotel is willing to meet my request.

AC duct exits need cleaning for a hotel like this. Kind of smelly. Bath room shows aged and worn. It requires walking to the other corner of the room to get a towel in wet feet after taking a shower. could not find a pen or a piece of paper in my room to leave a note for my family member, when needed to leave the room temporarily. Situated in quieter location of the city, air quality is good around it.
