The minute we walked in my wife tried to close the bathroom door and a piece of metal fell on her head. They gave us another room. Other than that, everything else was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room they gave us was comfortable enough.

How weird was this? When we checked in we were admonished not to use the thermostat in the room but contact the front desk if we needed the temperature adjusted. We dutifully asked to have the temperature lowered. We both sweated through the night only to find the temperature was higher in the morning than when we asked to have it lowered. We had a ground floor room and instead of a window, behind the curtains was an emergency exit door. Yeah, we won’t be doing this again.

Super helpful with the parking, available for ~$29 right in the hotel garage. Not the usual in small French hotels. Staff very nice and very helpful. Great location! Room was small and in-room coffee was instant — would have gotten the breakfast package if we were staying longer. Nice clean room, queen bed, everything worked very well. room was fairly small - not unusual for Europe hotels.
