Charming farmhouse experience in a tiny village in the spring. Easy access to Modane train station. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and healthy. Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Amazing hotel and well worth the money in my opinion. Came in early December, so it wasn’t too crowded for the busy season yet. Excellent service and facility. Book it!

Ski-in Ski-out luxury boutique hotel. Great location, within a nice 10 minute walk from the center of the town (1850). Twice a day service, timed while you're out. The staff was outstanding, without exception. They were on top of their game all the way from unloading the car, to bringing up the luggage, to the restaurant staff, to the ski room. Altapura richly deserves its 5-star rating. The resort is spectacular, and all the amenities are at one's fingertips. The ski school or instructors meet you there, the rentals and ski departures are just at the door, the food, wines, and all amenities are first rate. We took our 9-year old granddaughter and by the end of the week she had made fast friends with 6 other children. Staff was attentive and nice. Location was great taking into account the free shuttle service which was available on the minute. Facilities super nice.

Very nice place to stay with an excellent bar and restaurant. Although burger place across the street was not very good. Staff speaks English and are professional and helpful. Hotel is very close to a gondola making for easy access to the slopes. One drawback was that our building did not have an elevator.

We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish...

Could not have had a better time in Courchevel 1850. First time there for skiing. The staff were more helpful than I could have hoped for.

Quite area and nice weather in Summrr

Comfortable hotel in a good location. The room was compact which was tricky as we had lots of skiwear but this was more than made up for by the hot tub, sauna, steam room and ski lockers with boot warmers! The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can park right outside (snow permitting) to unload before parking in one of the main car parks. Recommended, especially if you book one of their larger rooms.
