「First of all, the house is spectacular! It’s well appointed, comfortable, clean, and would be great for larger groups, too. It couldn’t have been any better for location, a block from the beach, short, walk to downtown, easy drive to great restaurants and wineries.The large patio in the back right on the river was a perfect place to enjoy coffee or a glass of wine.We will definitely be coming back to this lovely little spot.」

「We had 10 adult family members stay for the weekend to attend a family members memorial. House was clean. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our group. Loved that we could walk to fish town for dinner. When at the house there was plenty of space for us to hang out together. Perfect for all our needs as far as being together, getting ready to attend the memorial and hanging out to share memories. 」

「The property is needing some updating. Master bathroom fan needs replaced or fixed (extremely loud), could use some updtaed and new linens/pillows for the rooms. Additional smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors needed throughout house. Kitchen utensils and cookware in need of updating. 「We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. 「Do not hesitate to book this Carriage House! Theresa is very quick to respond to any questions you have. The rental is spotless. The property grounds were stunning. A short walk up to the beach area past the main home has chairs and the water is crystal clear. The rental has its own little patio with firepit, wood and grill. There were k-cups which were much appreciated along with creamer. Makeup wipes in the bathroom. A nice cushiony tub mat in the shower. Super thick plush bath towels. Books...

「Great location! Needs a little TLC. Getting a little tired and worn. Some clean rugs and a new shower curtain would help. Also, need more than two sets of towels. Could be a really great place to stay otherwise.」

「Very quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. Can't see any neighbors. Had everything we needed. Bed didnt hurt my back which i can't say for all places. Close to the dunes climb and glen arbor. Not a bad distance to traverse city. We had a great time!!」
