Great place to take your teens!

Stayed here for 6 days, loved the house it was nicely updated and very clean. Came with just the right amount of imenities for a comfortable stay. Beds were amazingly comfy! We had 3 teens and a 9 y/o and 2 dogs with us, plenty of space and activities for all!

Great Getaway

The house was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was nice! The hot tub was a great addition! The host was quick to respond to inquiries about local amenities.

The best weekend!

There's not enough words to describe how relaxing and lovely it was to stay at this beautiful home. From the views to the accomodations, I can't recommend it high enough and we definitely would love to return to a place built for making memories

Excellent property managers

Property managers (owners?) were very accommodating and helpful throughout the booking and stay. The property is just as described and clean. We really liked the large garage and back deck. Our grandkids loved the enormous walk-in shower. Thank you for opening up your home.

The place was great. The hot tub, river access, peace and quiet. Just what the Mrs and I needed. Plus got to bring out beloved Chloe Bell with us. We're definitely coming back.

Nice Place & Clean!!!

We had a very nice stay and the owners were very kind. The place was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the laundry machine not working but the owners came out and replaced it with a new one immediately so we could enjoy the rest of our stay. The bonus game room was a hit for the whole family and we all had a great time overall. Definitely recommend!

Fall Break Family Trip

This property was great! We spent a long weekend with extended family with activities in Mammoth Cave and Louisville (both about a little over an hour away) and this was a perfect base for what we were doing. The game garage provided great downtime entertainment for the kids (ages between 7 and 17) and the house was very clean, beds were comfortable, had everything needed, and the hot tub was icing on the cake!

Spring Break

Great stay and located about an hour away from several different things to do. We had a good time visiting the mammoth caves and corvette museum. The game room was fun for the kids to play in. The host was responsive when we ran into a small issue with the thermostat. Great experience!

Sisters visit

Homey hideaway

Our stay was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the deck and the hot tub, with views of the river and mountains. We were an hou'rs drive (and centrally located) to great outdoor activities in Mammoth Cave and Bernheim Forest. We also enjoyed coffee in nearby Leitchfield. The house was very clean and comfortably furnished. We appreciated the well-stocked game room, and had all the equipment we need to cook breakfast and dinner. The hosts were kind and responsive. Thank you for a great trip!

Family Meet Up

We needed a place to meet up halfway with our down-south family. It is not easy to find an affordable place that can easily house 4 kids. This fit our needs. With 3 bedrooms (one with 5 bunks) we were comfortable. I would have liked a little more yard for the kids to play in but we made it work and the pole barn play area was helpful in the cooler weather. The hot tub was nice to have as well. A little far from attractions and groceries. Overall a nice comfortable home.

Slice of heaven in Kentucky

The beautiful house on the river has everything you need- a garage full of fun interactive games, a hot tub to work your muscles after days in the caves, and endless board games for family game nights in the evenings. There are plenty of screens to use- but between the garage, board games and river access we never had time to use the smart TVs. David the owner replies immediately for any questions and has the smoothest check in/out of any vrbo we have ever used! The house is amazing and I cannot wait to book it again and explore even more of the national park, state parks, fishing in rough river and cave exploring available! Unbelievable find!!! Definitely Worth the drive!!

A Cozy Cottage

We spent two nights in this cottage as a stopping point on our way home from Gatlinburg. We just wanted a place to stay to break up the trip back and to just relax on the way home. I am really glad we chose this cottage. The cottage was so nice. Check in and check out was the easiest of any rental places we have ever stayed. The cottage was clean and fully stocked with everything we needed, even spices. We enjoyed the game room and the hot tub. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, we bought wood, but we just never got around to using it, so we left the wood for the next renter. The beds were totally comfortable and we slept well Communication with the host was quick and friendly. We totally enjoyed our time here and would not hesitate to stay again.

A Cute and Practical Stay!

A few friends and I stayed here for a weekend trip. It's about an hour and a half drive from Mammoth Cave, so a decent option if you'd like to visit and aren't staying directly in the area. While it's in a neighborhood, it's nice and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The patio out back is a great spot to hang and drink your morning coffee. The hot tub is in great condition, just watch out for that first step out on the back porch on your way out there. It can be easy to miss. There's not a great spot to hang your towels, so make sure you keep a chair nearby, etc. If you get a chance, make sure to make your way down to the river behind the property. It's gorgeous!

Great host/House has issues

We rented this house for our anniversary trip, upon arrival the house was extremely dirty. This was brought to the hosts attention and he refunded our stay since we had to stay elsewhere. He was very kind and apologetic. The house was nice, just needed properly cleaned. I assume the cleaning people were doing the bare minimum, if anything at all and the host was unaware. I would not count this against him as this was brought to his attention and he was upset at the state of the house as well.

Great Kentucky Hideout

We enjoyed our stay at the River's Edge Cabin with our 3 kids (ages 10-15) and 2 older dogs. Just as the previous reviews described, it is definitely outside of town but for a last minute get away it was exactly what we needed. About an hour on back roads to Mammoth Cave we didn't have any traffic either way getting to go explore the park. The game barn was a hit for the whole family and so great it could be heated as we hit a cold/rainy weekend. We also enjoyed the Hot Chocolate/Coffee station setup in the kitchen! The hot tub was great after our hike and we would've spent more time on the awesome back deck had we had better weather. We were able to walk our dogs around the property down by the river. The house is in a "neighborhood" with neighbors living on one side, we didn't have any issue as the cabin lor and river path behind us were private. We would stay here again if we come back to the area, would love to come back in summer so we can spend some time down by the river. Thanks!

Beautiful Home

I was able to cook Thanksgiving dinner for 6 people and didn’t have to purchase anything other than the food. Did buy some plastic containers for leftovers. The home is beautiful and was decorated for Christmas. King bed was comfortable and the shower was so big and an added plus to our stay. The only negative I have is not the owners fault but mine. I failed to research the area and assumed we would be off by our selves. There are homes all around the property and the neighbors have dogs that bark way too often. Once inside the living room and master bedroom you can’t hear them. Only the bedrooms on the side and of course anytime you go in the yard and out on the porch with the hot tub. There is a Dollar Store about 4 miles away that is well stocked. Otherwise, the closest grocery and restaurants are 12 miles away and takes a while to get there because of the winding roads. We did enjoy our stay very much. Everything needed is provided and the home is very clean. I loved the openness of the floor plan and 6 of us was very comfortable and not on top of one another. Would rent from again.

This is a manufactured home in a hilly remote area. The Kitchen and living space were good and very comfortable beds. The garage was awesome for our 7 year old grandson. The ho t tub was nice but a set of jets didnt work. Overall, a great family friendly home is a scenic area.

Property was as described and well maintained. Some kitchen staples provided I was not expecting. Host was very responsive to questions.Hot tub was great according to my spouse.There was ample room to spread out. Lots of grass and house is on a great loop to walk our dog. Would rent again when I visit family nearby.
