"I checked out 2 days early for the following reasons:
1) Noise from ongoing banging hotel room doors ... they are self-closing, which is great, but just as they close they slam shut, which isn't conducive to sleep, as there are many rooms, so all you hear is banging doors day and night.
2). Restaurant buffet service is inadequate. When you arrive and pay your fee, they tell you that someone will come to your table to take your coffee or tea order, and as a single diner I even asked if I should sit first or just go directly to the buffet, and they said the latter was fine, as they are fast. I ate almost my entire meal before they came to ask, so I had only had the water, which I was able to get myself. Why I couldn't simply serve myself tea in a buffet is bizarre.
3). After I received the tea and with my first plate completed, I thought I would go to get some fruit, but when I returned, the entire table was cleared. I even arranged the table with napkin, utensils, tea cup, and tea pot to signal that I was still there. So I had to start over again in asking for new tea.
4) The evening restaurant stops serving food at 10pm on a Saturday night in Dublin. Really?
Overall, a really bad experience in a city that I love, and this is supposed to be a very nice hotel. It looks that way physically, but it isn't from noise to poor or limited food service. ."
