Quite quirky, lovely hotel. Very clean and the bar was very busy on an evening. The food was delicious and staff very attentive. Bedroom air conditioned, tea and coffee facility in room, safety deposit box, hairdryer.

A great spot to stay just outside Kilkenny. The attached restaurant had a fun vibe and great food. The bed was incredibly comfortable — after two weeks of hotel hopping around Ireland, this was our best sleep. Staff were easygoing and friendly to chat with. Breakfast was more limited than other stays, but still met our needs. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay.

Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool. No matter we’ll be back 💚

A true gem

This was such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and we loved the decor and different spaces to just relax within the hotel. We dined in the bistro and again, this was a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.

Great modern hotel in a very small town off of the highway. We decided to stay somewhere outside of Dublin after visiting Dublin for a couple of days on our way further south to the Ireland coast. This was a perfect place for that. This was a perfect hotel for that. It was a very large facility with a great morning breakfast and a nice onsite bar and restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when exploring the countryside in the area.
