「We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The view from the rear deck is wonderful. Our only disappointment was that the outdoor couch featured in the photos was not usable since cushions were nowhere to be found. And the deck chairs are pretty rickety. The grill could use some attention. Overall, a great place. 」

「Such an amazing stay!! Didn’t matter how cold or foggy it was outside, you can enjoy the beauty right in front of you through all the windows! Nice quiet neighborhood and really close to downtown Fort Bragg! Any small issues that came up were promptly addressed. Communication was excellent. Just sad they are selling the house. In a perfect world, I would have been able to buy it but just very grateful we had the 8 days to enjoy it!!」

Only slight complaint is all the beds feel like basically the same fairly hard foam which I didn’t really like, but otherwise it was an almost perfect stay. Will definitely think about staying again if I can make it back to Shelter Cove.」

Our group of ten took turns cooking with the impressive kitchen, and after having tried almost every appliance we can confidently say they all worked excellently and are clearly well maintained. The road up to the house can be a little tricky, and I would recommend vehicles that can manage steep inclines and have a bit of clearance.I would have appreciated a more detailed inventory of available cookware and dishes, as we ended up bringing...

Very short walk downhill to Black Sands Beach and amazing views overlooking the ocean in the evening. Woild recommend staying here.」
