"A beautiful quaint cottage. Well appointed to get to surrounding villages and attractions. Very well equipped, clean and warm. Thoughtful host, which had provided lots of additional information to help us enjoy our stay. Great local pubs within walking distance, only one local shop, which has long hours and all the basic provisions . Excellent nearby local farm shop if required. I would definitely recommend this property."

Despite paying a premium rate, the quality and condition of the rental fell far below expectations and posed genuine safety and hygiene concerns.The issues included feces smeared on the backyard fence and a dirty diaper by the outdoor dining area; unsafe furniture (of the 4 kitchen chairs, 2 were completely broken and abandoned outside in...

"The house itself is nice but when we arrived there was a lot of rubbish around the house. The kitchen lacked glasses, cutlery, pots and pans. We bought glasses ourselves and the rest was brought after two days. The WiFi was not working and consequently the TV didn't go either. A new WiFi was dropped at the house after five (!) days which we installed ourselves but the TV still didn't work. At one day somebody stood in front of the house and wanted to show it to somebody who was interested to buy...

"Stayed as a large family for a long weekend. The grandchildren loved the garden. The main house was great, the weather was perfect so we mainly used the kitchen and outside garden dining table. All four bedrooms in the main house are bright and well furnished. The bedrooms in the annexe are more basic but fine for just sleeping in. The host was always available and responded to the couple of queries we had immediately."
