This cabin ad everything needed for a great trip! Fully stocked kitchen with dishes, appliances and every gadget needed. House is comfortable great porch with great views easy access to the water!

Hill Country Getaway

Great place to stay. It was comfortable and accommodating. We got full use of the kitchen as we ate most meals in. We loved sitting on the front porch, listening to the river.

Relaxes

Quiet and peaceful. Amazing night sky with the sound of the river and croaking frogs. Leaky has some great little restaurants. Bent Rim Grill and Gypsy Sally's were great. State parks nearby with good hiking, especially Lost Maples

A very nice getaway for a double couples trip!

We enjoyed our stay so much! Being able to getaway and disconnect from reality for the weekend was amazing. We couldn’t have picked a better location. Thank you to John for being so easily reachable and giving us all the heads up we needed before arriving!

Soaking in nature

We loved how isolated we were. My kids loved the river that was close to us, not much water in it but enough to enjoy the afternoon. The beds were so comfy! The cabin was equipped w everything we needed, just make sure to grocery shop before arriving because the trip to the nearest store was a ways away. The stars were incredible. I really enjoyed it!

Great hil country stay!

This was a couples trip birthday celebration/wind down from all the holiday craziness and it was perfect. We did a 5 mile hike with amazing views, chillaxed, laughed, ppayed games at night. There was a wine bottle we enjoyed with dinner the host left as a gift. We highly recommend

Amazing Girls Trip Getaway!

The area is beautiful and the Frio River is right there practically in the front yard! Even with the river being low at the time, we found some gorgeous places to swim, float, and relax! We will be back!

Relaxing Trip!

We enjoyed our time at the Riverfront Cabin! Cabin set up was great for a family of 3 and a/c worked great!! Very important when outside temp is 100+…we enjoyed being so close to river — worked great with 2 dogs that loves water! John was great!

Relaxing getaway

We enjoyed a long weekend stay at the property. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals. Enjoyed having a washer and dryer too. The property was in peaceful and quiet location.

Rio Frio Annual Trip

We go to the frio almost every year and normally stay on friends property who has a camper. The cabin was a welcome tradition to our trip! The kitchen was stocked, AC was cold, beds comfortable and stars were amazing as always! We had a great trip and will def rent again!

Peaceful

Great location with only 10 minutes to town and beautiful view. Right on the river. My wife and i needed some R&R and this place most certainly did the trick. We will most certainly be back.

Back to school river trip

The cabin/house is perfect for a small group or family. A short drive from Garner and other fun locations. But, the river in front of the cabin is great to just hang and let kids explore! The home is fully stocked with just about everything you could need in the kitchen as well!

Great time despite flash flood, so cool to watch the river swell to more than four times its size!! Saw the Frio Bat Flight as well!! Great time seeing family and friends for the week!!

Great weekend trip

We will definitely return to this property in the future. With a 6 & 7 year old the house size and layout was perfect for them to play outside, and although the water level was low we enjoyed hunting for tadpoles and crawfish in the low pools. Host gave great directions on where to find deeper water and what was available in the area. Host was responsive to inquiries and readily messaged me back when I had questions. The house is older but not shabby, it's very comfortable for a weekend vacation and had everything we needed! We have already started planning our next trip with friends, maybe during the summer!

Leaky Frio River trip

Property was stocked very well, clean, and comfortable. The house setting at the base of the limestone cliff overlooking the Frio and Hill Country was fantastic! Very relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised at the conveniences located in Leaky. We were able to find all supplies and groceries that we needed and several restaurants. Looking forward to our next trip to the Hill Country.

Cozy, relaxing getaway spot!

Our whole family loved this house and the location - very comfortable for a relaxing weekend getaway. The proximity to the river was perfect and our kids loved exploring the area, wading through the river, and using the fire pit! Never even had time to enjoy the games and movies inside! We were happy to find the kitchen had all of the necessary equipment and utensils for cooking as we made all of our meals at the house. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Our stay was most pleasant. Property manager was most friendly and helpful. House was very nice. All the odds and ends needed were available. Very pleased with the welcome dinner supplement. :-))) Pleasant location.

The perfect weekend getaway

My little family booked for our long weekend, and I definitely overpacked, and it was an amazing trip in a beautiful location and this charming cabin was exactly what we wanted. The river is close and my toddler spent the afternoons wading and picking up rocks. The kitchen was easy to use for cooking and meal prep. We made s'mores for the first time as a family on the fire pit. Loved it, highly recommend!
