As others have said the condo space is wonderful! However, the condo building/exterior/hallways etc. could use an update. We explored the Black Hills North & South and this was a great location for our home base.

The condo was exactly as described. The outside of the property surprised us with the window AC units until we saw that all the buildings had them. The condo was a great location for us and very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again should the occasion arise.

What a wonderful condo ! So cozy and so nicely decorated! Very impressed pictures were exactly what we expected . Would have enjoyed more coffee cups one of our only complaints. Two cups was hard to work thru for four adults. But we loved our stay and would do it again in a heartbeat. Great quiet location ! Great atmosphere! Thank you for make our stay wonderful!

Room was clean, big, easily accessible. Instructions were simple (I like that). Wifi was good, TV's were good.The trade-off is you don't have a private home or garage, but this is well over 900 square feet with an updated feel at a good price. The queen beds in each room, with extra blankets, were comfy--basically, it was all great.We've stayed at several locations around Deadwood, and this was the best bang for the buck we've seen.

Home away from home!

We liked the set up of having the equivalent of two master bedrooms. We only ate out once as we have special diets and enjoy cooking our own meals. The quietness of the condo was impressive. It is nicely decorated in an up-to-date fashion. Loved the faux blue flame fireplace. (Kitchen could use a scissors, and living room blinds had three slats missing.)

Nice place; needs some changes

The apartment met our needs except for the TV which took a long time to load stations and had no local stations. We tried to call the rental agent several times with no success. The beds were old and creaky and we were afraid that they were going to fall apart. But many nice upgrades seemed to have been done. The new microwave was really good. The showers were hot and clean. The owner needs to have an instruction sheet re things to do before you leave. The location in Lead was good for all of our planned activities.

Weekend getaway

This property worked perfectly for two couples to stay at. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The main area was comfortable and stocked with necessities. The beds and linens were very comfortable. I also loved the seeing the deer that visit! I realize that this is not the owner's fault, but I would have loved to sit in the hot tub after snowmobiling on a cold day!
