Iron Wood Lodge - Terry Peak

This Black Hills Vacation Rental is a favorite of guests:  "Nothing but good things to say about this place. Was very clean, fit everyone perfectly, had everything anyone could need, very modern but yet still felt cozy and comfortable, close to Deadwood yet still felt like you were away off in the mountains. Nothing but good things to say. Would stay here again in a heartbeat."

Iron Wood Lodge is a fantastic, new construction with five bedrooms, three and a half baths,  Large wrap-around deck, beautiful mountain scenery and only blocks from the ski lodge make this an excellent vacation choice!  Accented by beautiful barn doors throughout and a rustic, modern touch - this will be a wonderful home-away-from-home for your time in the Black Hills!

Main floor has stately master bedroom with a king bed, TV, attached master bath as well as large kitchen, dining, half bath and Great Room with cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace and flat screen TV!  Huge windows provide regal views of pine, aspen and birch trees.
Upstairs you will find 2 bedrooms, both with queen beds, a full bath and loft with custom barn doors and sectional sofa to enjoy a nice book or just relax.
Downstairs has two bedrooms - 1 with twin bunks and 1 with a queen bed,  full bath and family room with pull out sofa sleeper, color changing gas fireplace and flat screen TV.

Nice, but a few problems.

The house was nice but the beds were awful with some of the sheets not fitting the beds correctly so we didn’t get the best rest. The house wasn’t the cleanest with dust coated bathroom fans and the bathroom rugs could be washed. The towels were clean but some had discoloration and looked old.

Beautiful House, very spacious. Close to where you want to be!

Our stay here was great. We had seven adults, 4 kids, and a baby; and had plenty of space. The house is large with a nice, open floor plan. The location by Terry Peak is fantastic, putting you very close to Lead, Deadwood, and lots of activities in the Black Hills. The finishes were high end and modern, especially compared to many similar properties in the area. I would stay here again if coming to the area.

Family reunion

Great stay at this property! It was well furnished with towels and extra blankets, the kitchen well stocked with utensils. Great location for activities in lead and deadwood. It fit our group of 12 nicely. Beautiful home!

Beautiful Home - Great Location

This home is spacious, lovely, and contains all that you will need! Easily can accommodate 5 couples (plus)! The location was perfect for all of the parks/monuments/touring being a short drive away (especially Deadwood). Only improvements I would make are: better internet (however this may be impossible in the area), and thicker pillows. All else is wonderful - 5 stars for sure!
