"The property was ideal for an extended holiday for my husband and myself. A relaxing place to stay. The garden was large and secure for our two dogs. The town had all the basic amenities we needed. "Such an unusual hotel. What a wonderfully warm welcome even though we arrived about an hour earlier than the advised check-in time. Beautifully clean rooms. Compact but everything you could possibly need. The only disappointment was the bar and restaurant beong closed on our visit (Monday). Apparently this is the case on Sundays and Mondays although that was not clearly advertised on the site I booked through. Would still highly recommend."

Very good accommodation.

"This has become a regular stop over for us on our regular travels over to France. It is close to the tunnel and we'll located for the main roads in out and around Abbeville. The apartments we generally stay in have a kitchen/lounge/eating room, a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. The kitchen area has the basic cooking equipment comprising rising a ring electric hob and a microwave. Utensiles, plates and cutlery are supplied but we have noticed that over time the number of pieces is declining. There are TVs in the lounge and bedroom. Also we have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. This suits us perfectly and we will continue to use it whilst we are travelling over to the south West of France."

"A wonderful starting point for our 3.5 weeks in France. Only a short distance from Calais so enabled us to be well refreshed before commencing the long drive to the south. Really friendly hostess, she couldn't have done more for us."

"What a beautiful place. Antoine and Charlotte have renovated the building in the most cosy and welcoming style. They are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious. We loved the pool which was a perfect temperature and the outdoor chairs for soaking up the afternoon and evening sunshine. Just 20 minutes from St Valery sur Somme, we enjoyed the train ride around the bay to Le Crotoy and spent the afternoon exploring beautiful St Valery. We loved this place and the location. Highly recommended."

A wonderful peaceful corner of Normandy

"Pascale could not have been more helpful. I asked for breakfast and evening meal as I was on my own and didn't fancy the drive into Songeons in the evening. The house is beautiful ( old farmhouse in style and wooden interior and Indian lights makes for a wonderful ambience). The extensive grounds are a wonderful place to relax and there are chairs and loungers all over so that you can avoid the sun or not!"
