João, our host, helped us navigate our way to the home and welcomed us with chocolate, wine and kindness.The accommodations lacked nothing. "Marcus’ place is incredible! It was much bigger than we expected and worked perfectly for our group (two families with teenage kids 14- 18 plus my 80 year old mother). The pool was great (particularly given the heat!) and we made good use of the gym and cinema room (the property also has its own chapel!) Having Rosa, the housekeeper, join us every morning to set out breakfast was fantastic and meant that we had one less meal to organise. Deserves its 5* rating!"

"This is a room to remember! It is apparently new judging from the pristine condition and stylish modern amenities. The private hot tub on the patio is a welcome amenity after a long day of sightseeing and port wine tasting. The view out the windows is pastoral and inviting. Its just a short distance from the town, but its not practical to walk anywhere from here so we recommend if you have a car or are happy to use rideshares. The driveway entrance is non-descript so pics are below to help...
