"I’m a RGV local and have driven past this place 100s of times. But gotta note that my stay at La Copa in was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Staff maintained comunal bathrooms exceptionally clean. Staff were polite and offered help fast. The Rooms were just as nice and clean. Didn’t matter where you were in the hotel smelled really nice. The food at the pool bar/restaurant was also really good. The one complaint I have was the extra charge for beach chairs and umbrella. For as much as it cost to stay there the hotel should include the umbrella and chairs with your stay. Stayed at Destin a year ago same price in rooms that included two chairs and umbrella. Other than that would highly recommend La copa inn. The breakfast is also another thing to point out that was amazing. Omelets how you want them with a variety of ingredient options, or your selection of house made breakfast burritos. Waffle bar, cereal, scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, and beans. OJ, Apple juice, milk, and coffee. "

"Everything about our stay was great. Check in was fast, room was great. Landshark grill was easy and quick to eat at. The pool is nice although you need to get there early to get seats. This was our second stay and we will be back again!"

"Easy to step right out onto the beach - lots of fun - great pool - spacious room - large hallways - great view if you get a gulf view room - breakfast was great - heads up… price of parking is added onto your room - Bar Louie (with dance floor and gulf view), gym, gift shop & Starbucks on the property - next door to Clayton’s - the only thing I would have changed is the bed, not the most comfortable unless you like really firm mattresses and flat pillows - but definitely plan to stay again! A great choice!"

"Great location, beautiful ocean views, nice beach and amenities close. However, hotel was short staffed at the front desk and store onsite during our stay and wait times were very long for check in and also for little things like new room key, etc. I had to use the front desk 3 times in one day as My room Key lost its programming and I had to wait more than 25 mins for a replacement. Same when buying items at the store on site. "

"There were bugs in our room the first night, didn’t notice until the next morning when my cpap machine had them all over. They moved us to the 3rd floor where the room was not full of bugs luckily, but the tub was rusted, the mini fridge didn’t work, and not all the outlets worked "

"We travel with young children and like staying at hotels were breakfast in included. I don’t particular like when a hotel does not clearly state that complimentary breakfast is not always available. I am a bonvoy member and I was not treated as one during check-in either. I will not be staying at this location when I return to Brownsville later this year. "

"Room was pretty decent. I didnt like the door lock thing. Beds were clean but I did find someone elses hair in the bed. My husband got bit by a bug, we dont know what kind of bug. Shower pressure was great. Pool was cold. "

"Even tho staff was nice. I rate this a 1 star. I disliked my stay, couldn’t wait till the night was over to leave. I had asked for a non smoking room and it smell like smoke as soon as I walked into room. Bedsheets were dirty. Seemed like someone was in that room before we arrived. Did not enjoy my stay at all! "
