So I think that the Motel itself deserves 5 stars, however, there are some drawbacks that you need to be aware of when booking here.
First the bad, old downtown Vegas is desperately trying to make itself relevant. So much so that it attracts a certain type of crowd. Also, the amount of transients along with the trash on the sidewalk is terribly off putting. This is no fault of the motel. Finally, the parking lot is always full and the auxiliary parking lot is sketchy at best.
Now the good! This Motel must have the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure of encountering in all of Las Vegas. The room is old put passable. It has very thin walls, but the sound dies off around 2am. The room is not cleaned every day but every third day. Mine was not cleaned on the third day, but that’s ok, the front desk supplied me with my needs.
