However some things like the doors were run down when I put my card I had to go downstairs to ask why the door wouldn’t open in which they told me I had to flip the handle up instead of down first and to pull the door before inserting my key card. I also had a struggle getting into the hotel from other exterior doors with my key card as it wouldn’t read it properly."

"When we first arrived the room assigned had unmade beds when we walked in. Thankfully the staff quickly gave us another room which was wonderful and clean🌟 But then the girls wanted to go and swim before we went out to dinner and they couldn’t because the pool was blocked off for swim lessons. They had been looking forward to swimming. Other than that everything with the hotel was great."

"This hotel wasn’t bad. It was average. Inverness is a beautiful area, so the surrounding area outside is fabulous. The hotel itself is older, dingy, and not updated. Carpets were frayed, stained, and dirty, the finish in the bathtub in my room was coming off. Little things like that. My room is lovely, clean, towels smelled fresh and clean, sheets were fresh and clean. Overall things appeared clean, neat, and tidy. The pictures on Expedia definitely don’t depict what’s real. The outside common area was dirty, and it smelled like cigarettes and pot, which is not pleasant, so I wasn’t able to sit outside like I wanted to! It’s interesting because parking is out around the back, and there’s not really an easy way to get into the front from the parking lot! I thought that was interesting. The staff was friendly and pleasant, that was nice. It was nice to have a restaurant on site, I ordered the hamburger with fries and the firecracker shrimp, both were good! I would give it a 7 1/half out of 10. For the food. For the price, everything was great! I would recommend to any traveler that wants to stay in a decent hotel, in a great area, but is looking to save a little money."
