Outstanding experience

One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in worldwide. Spectacular setting and beautiful beach; rainforest villas in the heart of the jungle with copious wildlife (macaques, dusky leaf monkeys, monitor lizards, great hornbills, otters swimming in the sea, butterflies...); outstanding and really friendly service; excellent food. There is very little not to like about this outstanding hotel in an outstanding location.

Our birthday stay at The Datai Langkawi was nothing short of exceptional. This resort truly offers the perfect blend of luxury and nature immersion that's rare to find. The beach is pristine and peaceful, offering a secluded slice of paradise that made us feel worlds away from everyday life. The Nature Centre deserves special mention. It provided fascinating insights into the local ecosystem and rainforest, adding an educational dimension to our stay that we didn't expect but thoroughly appreciated. The staff there were knowledgeable and passionate about conservation. As golf enthusiasts, we were thrilled with the golf course. Playing surrounded by such stunning tropical scenery elevated the entire experience. The course is well-maintained and offers both a challenge and breathtaking views.
