「This is my favorite spot in all of Ethiopia. It was my second stay at this hotel and proved to be as special as the first. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for a shower. The view from the balcony is extraordinary with crows, eagles and hawks flying at by. The morning coffee was delicious and everyone was extremely accommodating and kind. I highly recommend.」

As such I have visited most of the <$50 hotels in Lalibela at one point or another. Many are lovely, but Asheton is unbelievable.
