The hotel is located in a quiet setting on a lakeside with a a beautiful park - a peaceful place to stay. Parking was convenient and hassle-free. The hotel is approximately 20–30 minutes’ drive from the motorway, which is worth considering when planning your journey.
The check-in experience could have been better. We received very little information upon arrival and were essentially just handed the keys and directed to our room. A more detailed explanation of the hotel’s facilities and services would have been appreciated. On the positive side, we were able to extend our checkout by two hours free of charge, which was a welcome benefit.
The breakfast selection was acceptable, but not particularly impressive. Apart from plain coffee, all other hot drinks came at an additional charge. In the afternoon, complimentary tea and coffee are served alongside a selection of homemade cakes, which was a nice touch.
The restaurant on-site offers a limited selection of high-quality dishes. However, due to the restricted variety, we preferred to dine elsewhere.
The pillows were extremely soft and uncomfortable. We requested alternative pillows, but unfortunately, nobody followed up on our request. The room also lacked a kettle and tea or coffee-making facilities. In the bathroom, only hand soap and shower gel were provided, with no body lotion or skin cream.
