"This place is charming and nestled in the woods of east Texas, it’s great for unwinding and getting away from the city for a few days, beautiful outdoor deck for birdwatching or just relaxing, Room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast that we ate was outstanding, the owners were very hospitable and we will be going back. "The room was very large and very clean. The mattresses were very comfortable. I like that the part of the restroom with the toilet and walk-in shower was separated by a door from the vanity and sink area. This is nice when sharing a room. Water pressure was great but the HOT water ran out quickly! only bad thing was the Road noise from cars driving by. They had a noise machine in the room to help cover that sound which was appreciated. We did not go to the Lake was it was very close- walking distance. Overall, nice place to stay in Quitman! "

"The property was very clean and had lots of amenities, the host was helpful and pleasant to interact with. There was a great selection of coffee, tea and hot cocoa with lots of flavor syrups and they had a great snack selection which the kids were very happy about. We very much enjoyed our stay. The host was even very gracious about us being a little behind on check out time which was very much appreciated."
