House layout is great and was very comfortable with 10 of us (could have easily fit a few more). Location is great in a quiet neighborhood only a few miles from Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach. House was very well stocked. A minor issue that the TV remote didn’t seem to work but didn’t detract from our stay. Had a couple of questions during the staff and got immediate responses from the owner. Check-in and checkout were a breeze with great communication. 10/10 and would stay here again.

Excellent house, Exceptional Host! This house has everything you would ever want or need for your vacation. It's home away from home. A fully stocked kitchen, all the toys you need for your winter vacation fill the garage.The house is in a quiet cul-de-sac with friendly neighbors who will give you suggestions on where to visit during your vacation. The host is responsive and willing to accommodate requests. Overall we had a great time and would recommend this house!

We just checked out from our stay. The house was spacious, had more than enough space for our kids to play, and beds for everyone to sleep in. The kitchen was great- had all the right cooking and serving utensils, pots, pans, baking sheets, etc for us to make great meals. The ice machine didn’t work. In terms of cleanliness, I didn’t feel the house has had a deep cleanse for a while (there was an old ear plug on our nightstand, my kids found a used toothbrush under the bunk beds, dusty, dead bugs along window sills, along carpet/walls).

We enjoyed our time at Kingwood Estates! Our large family found the accommodations perfect because we had lots of little kids. The fort out back was a real plus with all the littles. Our only complaints were that the ice maker didn't work and there was no AC we could figure out how to use, or maybe there just isn't AC here. it's rare to need air conditioning at Tahoe, but we visited during a real heatwave and there just weren't enough fans, cross breezes, etc. to keep us comfortable at night. I'm sure it's perfect in the winter. We would rent this house again!

We stayed in this home with 14 family members and it was perfect! We felt like we were in the forest, but in a safe, quiet neighborhood. The home is on a dead-end road and we enjoyed walking to the top and hiking through the forest. There were trails at the bottom of the street where we walked through the forest and rode bikes. It was a short drive to Kings Beach, grocery shopping. We loved the vacation - hiking, mountain biking, beach, paddleboarding, tennis, pickleball, bike jumping (the free bike jump park is AMAZING), horseshoes and sightseeing. The home was comfortable and clean and was a great resting place for us amidst the activities.

We did it all! Ski at Northstar, x-country ski at Tahoe Donner, sled and snowshoe the "backyard" wilderness, view the scenic vista of Lake Tahoe, and sit around the fireplace catching up and playing games. This was perfect, actually. Gear was in the garage, games were in the closet, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances. So wonderful!
