「Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. 「今回ホテル内で過ごす時間が長かったですが、プールサイドやリビングなどでゆったりできたので快適でした。バスタブがなかったのと、ベッドが多分コイルマットで個人的にコイルはあまり好きでないので残念でしたが、部屋は清潔で窓もあり快適でした。朝食はポルトガルの定番でしょうか、パン類、チーズ類、ハム類、スクランブルエッグとベーコン、そしてフルーツなど。変換アダプターを外出先におき忘れたためどうしようかと思いましたがフロントで貸してもらえ助かりました。
My room doesn't come with a bath tub and I didn't like the mat of the bed, but the room itself was very clean and comfy. Breakfast was probably the typical Portuguese. 」

Very close to a very good local seafood restaurant and the beach. Also close to many water adventure tours.
Close but far enough away from old town, the marina has its own night life.

「Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations. I had booked a private room with private bathroom as I was staying there a couple nights so cannot speak for the shared rooms. Included breakfast which was very appreciated. Clean, nice staff, great location.」
