The Carvoeiro By the Sea 1 Apartment is a welcoming and modern retreat, perfect for up to 8 guests, ideally located just 100 m from Carvoeiro Beach. The spacious open-plan living room is the heart of the apartment, offering a bright and relaxing atmosphere with a comfortable sofa and tasteful décor, ideal for unwinding or spending time with family and friends.



All on one level, the apartment features three comfortable bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom, and two additional bedrooms with twin beds, perfect for families or groups. A shared bathroom with a shower ensures practicality and comfort throughout your stay.



The fully equipped kitchen blends seamlessly with the living area, creating a functional and cozy space to prepare and enjoy home-cooked meals.



Outside, two shared terraces complement the experience. The lower terrace offers a dining area and lounge space, ideal for outdoor meals or moments of relaxation. The upper terrace boasts a beautiful sea view, perfect for enjoying stunning sunsets with a drink in hand.



Just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and the Carvoeiro Boardwalk, this apartment offers the perfect setting to experience the best of the Algarve coast.



The changeover day for this property is Thursday (however, there may be flexibility in low season).

Perfect Beachside Escape!

We had an amazing stay at Apartment Carvoeiro By the Sea 1. The location is unbeatable—just a 2-minute walk to the beach and close to great restaurants. The apartment was spacious, clean, and the open living area was perfect for relaxing after a day out. The upper terrace with sea views was a highlight, great for enjoying a drink while watching the sunset. With its prime location and comfortable amenities, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Carvoeiro!

Perfect Family Getaway in the Heart of Carvoeiro

We absolutely loved our stay at Carvoeiro By the Sea 1! The location couldn’t be better, just a short stroll from the beach, shops, and several amazing restaurants. It’s the perfect base to explore the town without needing a car. The apartment itself is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The layout worked perfectly for our family of five, with three well-sized bedrooms, including one lovely en-suite room. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the open-plan living area felt very homey. What made our stay even more special were the two terraces. The upper terrace has a beautiful sea view, ideal for enjoying a glass of wine at sunset. The lower terrace was great for our family dinners and relaxing after a day at the beach. Highly recommend this apartment for families or groups looking for comfort, great amenities, and a prime location in Carvoeiro. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location and apartment, some shortcomings

We really enjoyed our time in this apartment, but there were some things that they should improve. First, the beds were rock hard - they must be the cheapest mattresses. There's also items missing that I would expect a VRBO to have when you're staying for multiple days (salt/pepper, dish soap, more than 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels). There was also little communication on items that I expect - for instance, where to take the garbage/recycling if needed (there's public garbage and recycling apparently).At the time we visited, parking 2 blocks away was readily available, but may not be so in the busy season. The location was super close to the beach, restaurants, and stores, and that was great.

Great Stay Close to the Beach

We had a fantastic time during our stay. The apartment was bright, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Being so close to the beach and restaurants made everything super convenient. We especially loved the outdoor space and the sea view from the terrace. Would definitely stay again!

Total Disregard for Guests

The location was amazing and the apartment would have been great had it not been for the stink caused by plumbing issues. When we arrived we could smell a slightly unpleasant odour. after coming back from a walk and dinner the smell was terrible. We informed the owners that we felt they had a plumbing problem and they should send a plumber to fix the faulty trap in the in the ensuite bathroom. They asked if we had checked the drain in the shower, we told them we had not even used that shower because the stench was so bad. The owner then agreed to send a cleaner who simply masked the smell. We had checked the shower and the floor wasn't wet. We let the owner know that the smell had only been masked. They said that the tide caused the smell. We discoverd the only way we could control the smell was to run the water in the shower every 3-4 hours to fill the trap. If we left the unit for more than 4-5 hours the smell was horrible. We had to get up 2-3 times a night to run water in the shower to prevent the smell from returning. we were all suffering with headaches and nausea. We asked again for a plumber and they refused. We asked to be relocated, they refused. We asked for a reduction in our rate they refused. we asked VRBO to provide a resolution/refund and they made a lame excuse about their IT systems not integrating. We did not have the money to just walk away and find another place, both Algarve Vacation Rentals and VRBO let us down. Stay away from both of these companies.
