We noticed a nice looking hotel online at Kamadhoo island and thought it would be a nice stop for our Maldivian island hopping experience. We booked in for one night at the Swarn by Hawks. It was a beautiful hotel with amazing ocean views. The floor to ceiling glass view of the ocean is quite spectacular. We were upgraded from the Deluxe Sea View to the Executive Suite, which was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we decided to extend our stay a couple extra nights. Our travel plans changed and we ended up extending our stay at the hotel for another week. Ravin (the manager) was very accommodating in every way. The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing. We only ate the breakfasts at the hotel and it was a delicious buffet breakfast. We can’t comment on the other meals because we ended up eating out at the local restaurants. There was construction going on around the hotel and there are deficiencies in the newly built hotel, but they are addressing them and doing renovations as needed. The cost/night reflected this and more than compensated for the issues. The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. As we were leaving one of the workers ran up to us to give us a few items that we accidentally left behind in the room. Everyone at Swarn by Hawks contributed to make our stay a memorable one. We had the most amazing stay at Siyam World Maldives and honestly can’t fault it. From the moment we arrived at the airport, everything was seamless and well organised. A huge highlight for us was having our own hotel representative. We were assigned Toga who was absolutely amazing. His communication was excellent throughout our stay, and he handled everything for us effortlessly. He checked in with us regularly, and sorted anything we wanted or were interested in without us ever having to worry. He truly made our holiday stress-free. The island itself has loads to do with some paid water activities, which was perfect. We were especially impressed with the endless food choices, no matter the time of day – there was always something available and plenty of options for everyone. The evening entertainment was really enjoyable, the beaches were spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming at all times. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after. This was a truly special holiday and one we’ll always remember. We will definitely be visiting again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone considering the Maldives.
