Hotel Stay Review We honestly had such a lovely stay here and what really made it special was the people. Every single member of staff was so friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to help. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel more like guests in someone’s home than customers in a hotel. Hamisha was absolutely lovely and always so friendly, as were Allen, the other lady whose name I unfortunately can’t remember, and the chef. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and looked after, and it really didn’t feel forced — it felt genuine. It’s not often you stay somewhere where the staff make such a big difference to the experience, but that was definitely the case here. They made us feel completely at home, and by the end of our stay it honestly felt like we were leaving friends behind rather than simply checking out of a hotel. A beautiful stay made even better by a fantastic team. We would definitely come back and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for somewhere warm, welcoming and homely.

Mountain View er et hyggeligt hotel lidt inde på øen. Det var et dejligt værelse vi havde, med en flot udsigt på bjerget. Morgenmaden var lidt kedelig, aftensmaden var fin til prisen, men restauranten er kedelig. Personalet er de sødeste mennesker

La chambre était propre et assez spacieuse. Le personnel au petit soin, très gentil et toujours souriant. Le seul petit bémol et l'accès a l'hôtel une côte impossible a monter en vélo ordinaire, mon petit conseil louer des vélos électriques.

Zimmereinrichtung einfach aber funktionell. Zimmer und Bad sehr geräumig. Personal äußerst hilfsbereit. Auf Sauberkeit wird sehr geachtet. Pool ist klein und nur für kurze Abkühlung geeignet.

Stunning view, a bit of a walk or cycle to get there but well worth it. I saw several endemic birds from the room's belcony including the very rare Seychelles paradise flycatcher. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The staff opened me with friendliness! I just got off the ferry with sea sickness and they gave me a yummy non alcoholic beverage to ease my pain. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Please choose mountain view for your holiday

Sehr liebes und nettes Personal,jedoch ist das Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Einrichtung ist einfach, funktional aber auch alt. Die Sauberkeit ist OK, könnte aber besser sein. Die Anfahrt zum Hotel, gerade die letzten 300-400 Meter sind mir dem Fahrrad nicht zu schaffen. Wenn in anderen Bewertungen steht, dass man sie hochfahren kann, ist das gelogen oder Lance Armstrong war Gast

Oh Mountain View... how we miss you! Thank you Giovanni, Nathalie and our Kenyan friend. It was an amazing stay. Staff was so nice and very helpful with everything. Breakfast was super, with a lot of choices and very tasty. Best part: fresh mango juice every morning, home made by the chef Giovanni who taught us a lot about the nature in Seychelles and we had very nice talks everyday at breakfast. The hotel is situated upon a hill, so yes, you need to be ready for that because the only way to get there is with bicycles/walk or the taxi when you first arrive. Otherwise the hotel is situated nicely, with the nature as a view and beaches in all directions. Don´t underestimate the dinner at the hotel, the fish soup was excellent- give it a try! Room very nice, very clean and you can rent bikes at the hotel. The only thing was the pool, don´t choose the hotel for the pool, and the island tax or whatever it was we had to pay- only there, nowhere else.. Well in total, we had an unforgettable stay! Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts.

I liked the view from my room and balcony. I had a view of a mountain and green leafs trees were so close you can almost touch them. The room, balcony, and the bathroom were all spacious. Hotel was quiet and perfect for relaxation. If you plan to take many bike rides you should be aware of the up the hill location of the hotel. A few times I gave up my bike and walk around the area instead.
