"Quiet semi rural location in an area close to lots of fun things to do and see. Beds were comfortable, home was clean and well stocked in the kitchen with items for cooking or heating food. Alexandre was very responsive and met us at the property both checking in and leaving. We had a good stay."

"Small but perfectly formed. Only lack of its own outside space, access to a terrace so we could eat outside, was our only frustration. Marc on behalf of his mum was excellent. "We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"We stayed here as two families with 5 children between us. The property is really lovely, it has so much character and is set in spacious grounds so ample room for the children to entertain themselves. The pool is a good size and right next to the house and there was plenty of useful information left by the owners to help plan trips further afield."

We would have been a little more reassured about the location if Google Earth hadn't shown a very cluttered area just in front filled with children's toys, a camper and other items, though! Found it a bit difficult navigating from the parking across the lowly light ground in front (uneven lawn). Otherwise, everything was just perfect. Hosts very responsive. Thank you!"

"What a fantastic relaxing holiday with walks and a boat trip along the Cher and Loire rivers, and visiting the wonderful town of Amboise. The whole area is alive with dragonflies, butterflies and birds. The house is just a short walk from the river Cher with restaurants and bars close to the river. The house was perfect for what we needed with a well-situated patio with table and chairs to enjoy the warm summer evenings. "Awful. It felt like a homeless person place. No AC, No Hairdryer, Shower head has to be held to be used, Dirty floors with circular burns in carpet, no toiletries or towels, no AC in fitness center, very sketchy area, dirty refrigerator, no coffee, very late checkin and very early checkout. Worst place I have EVER stayed. "
