"My stay at Hix Island House was wonderful! The property was very clean and just as described on the website. It was peaceful, relaxing, and romantic, making it the perfect place to unwind. I especially loved the pool area—it was beautiful and so enjoyable. Check-in was easy and hassle-free. The only thing I missed was having a TV in the room, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I would definitely recommend Hix Island House and would love to stay again!"

"My favorite part of my trip to PR. The owners are so friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, there is a beach across the street where I spent all day and didn’t see one other person. Very close to the restaurants. Beach towels, chairs and coolers available and breakfast for purchase. Would visit again!"

They helped me get better ferry times and arrange the right transportation on the island. "I will say for the price it was well worth it! Literally you walk out the door take 20 steps to the right and you are on the beach! Not to mention there is a restaurant/bar on the property, which is super convenient. It’s a cute little room with a full bathroom and great air-conditioning. When you open the door, there’s a cute little courtyard in case you want to sit out and get fresh air. I definitely recommend."

"What a beautiful home! It is settled right on the beach and is a short distance from all the public beaches, restaurants, and shops. It is very quiet and clean and our lovely hosts checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed! This was our second stay here and we will definitely be back!"

"I absolutely loved the upstairs room we had! It felt like a little apartment more than anything. We had space to spread out and not feel cramped like in other hotels we stayed in PR. There are so many cute beach details in the room that I felt like vacay had officially started. The hotel owner was very helpful and nice. We loved our stay. Even though you have to walk 5 mins to the nearest restaurant, it’s totally worth it! We will stay here when we come back to Vieques!"
