Bout St. Maurice is a ski town in the winter and a hiking/ biking town in the summer.My wife says this is one of the best areas we have ever seen and thinks the motel is the best as well. "We booked the hotel in good faith via hotels.com for a family ski holiday but we arrived in the resort at 10pm in freezing snow conditions to find that the hotel was closed for the whole week we had booked.
We were left with no accommodation for the night and if it had not been for some people allowing us to sleep on their floor we would have likely frozen to death !!"

"Fantastic location for skiing! Locker rooms on slope meters from chair lifts. Good choice of food for breakfast with amazimg views of mountains and bottom of pistes. Large bar area with big screen. Hotel is tired but very comfortable and in similar condition to other ski hotels i have used. Arrived late into resort and bo restaurants were open but duty manager went and found food for us which was very much appreciated!!"
