Come face to face with dragons, Han Solo’s Millenium Falcon, Mt. Rushmore and entire miniature towns at LEGOLAND® Park in Billund, the birthplace of LEGO®. As well as featuring giant LEGO® characters and creations, LEGOLAND®’s roller coasters, water rides, interactive gaming and a walk-through aquarium filled with sea creatures will keep everyone entertained.
LEGOLAND® Park is divided into several areas. In Miniland you’ll find 1:20 scaled buildings and iconic landmarks from all over the world. Young children will love climbing aboard the trains and planes of Duplo Land. In Pirate Land, plunge down water rides, challenge friends and family to a water cannon fight and set sail to adventure in a LEGO® ship. Don’t forget to bring your swimsuit!
Ride into the Wild West at LEGOREDO Town, where you can pan for gold, ride the Mine Train, canoe down the rapids and visit an Indian camp. Once you’ve worked up a hunger on the rides, stop in for a hearty buffet lunch at the Knight’s Table, in the Knight’s Kingdom castle. Make sure you take a ride aboard the thrilling Dragon roller coaster before you leave the castle.
For a change of pace, head to the LEGO® Studios in the Imagination Zone and catch a 4-D movie with special effects you can feel! Then head to Atlantis for close encounters with real Giant Crabs, sharks, seahorses and fish of every color. Over at Polar Land, visit a colony of penguins and ride the park’s fastest roller coaster, the Polar X-plorer.
If the park proves too much to do all in one day, stay overnight in Hotel LEGOLAND®, which features themed rooms guaranteed to delight LEGO® fans of all ages. Should you grow attached to the unique decor items like the LEGO® shark’s head mounted above the toilet, or the LEGO®-filled glass coffee table, pop into the LEGOLAND® shop to stock up on the pieces to make your own.
