"We checked into Home2 Suites by Hilton Cape Canaveral on May 23 after booking and prepaying for our stay weeks in advance. Upon entering Room 617, we found the room smelled unpleasant and was 85°F. The air conditioner was functioning. We immediately contacted the front desk and were told maintenance would be sent. After waiting and allowing maintenance to work on the unit, including finding the AC partially disassembled, the room remained unusable. We spent considerable time waiting in the lobby and bar area while staff attempted to address the problem. Ultimately, we were forced to leave and find other accommodations on short notice. The handling of the situation was extremely disappointing. When we asked to speak with a manager, we were not allowed to do so and were given conflicting information about whether a manager was even available. We were told that a refund would be issued, but when we requested documentation confirming that refund, the front desk clerk was dismissive and laughed at our request. No written confirmation was provided. It has now been over a week, and no refund has been received. Expedia has informed us that there is no record that a refund was ever initiated by the hotel. This was not a case of canceling a nonrefundable reservation or changing our minds. We were unable to use the room we paid for because of a significant maintenance failure and relied on the hotel’s assurance that a refund would be processe"

"This hotel served its purpose for us. We were only there for one night as we were leaving for a cruise the following morning. It was very close to our cruise terminal and there were restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean, the service was good, and the room was spacious."

"I highly recommend. My room 504 was very spacious, clean, bed comfortable with excellent views to for the two space launches we witnessed. Grace was amazing, from the moment she checked us in and checked out. She made sure all our needs were met and always greeted us with a genuine welcoming smile. The daily breakfast was delicious and appetizing. We also ordered from the restaurant and the wings and BLT sandwich we ordered were perfectly prepared and delicious, Bryan’s preparation, care and personal service was spectacular. When visiting Kennedy Space Center this is the place to stay."
