This is a quaint old hotel with a wonderful staff. The only real downside is that it has an historic designation which prevents them from installing an elevator.

Great location of the hotel, staff were really friendly and helpful, good choice for breakfast and places to eat just outside the door of the hotel. The area around the hotel is lovely for a walk after your evening meal and felt safe and friendly. Finding the car park is the only tricky bit but the locals are clearly used to people getting lost and were wonderful giving us directions.

This boutique hotel had a lot of Rolls-Royce car decor. Beautifully designed rooms. The bed was comfortable. AC was okay, wouldn’t go lower than 24C. Breakfast & parking was included. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Huone oli kaunis ja siisti. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen. Ilmastointia emme saaneet säädettyä, joten huoneessa oli hieman liian viileää. Lasiseinä ja -ovi kylpyhuoneen ja huoneen välillä oli vähän häiritsevä.

Hotel was nice. The electricity in the room had issues. During the night - even with all lights turned off - the lights would flicker on every 30 - 40. We were there three days and the lights were never fixed. But staff friendly and hotel clean and nice. Free breakfast was an added bonus.

Das Frühstück lässt deutlich zu wünschen übrig, ist lieblos und nicht besonders appetitlich zubereitet. Schlechten Kaffee und geschmacklose Säfte gibt es woanders billiger. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Personal im Service hingegen demotiviert und schaut böse.

FANTASTIC HOTEL! Luckily i did not see that this was a "boutique hotel" since I normally don't book those. But this hotel is going into my "must visit again list". Room was amazing, AirCon that worked great, friendly and helpsome staff. And i saved the best for the last, The hotel is like a small car museum, car and especially Rolls Royce memerobilia all over the place. You are welcomed with a front end of Rolls Royce sticking out of the wall in the reception. And all in most respect of the vehicles, not tacky at all. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

Let me put it this way. If you rely on parking at the hotel, it may be difficult to get there since it's in old town Kranj. The other issue I had with the hotel was that it did not have an elevator or a dummy lift for luggage. To top that, I'm not sure on a Sunday night when I am 100% positive that the hotel was only at a maximum of 30-40% capacity, why we were given a room on the 3rd floor (4th for us Americans who count from 1) when we could have probably been given a room on the floor right above the reception. Carrying a heavy suitcase up 4 flights of stairs was NOT fun. Besides that, killed a spider and other than that it was uneventful. The breakfast was actually pretty decent compared to some others.

Helt supert hotell!! Fott med Tema Bil for oss som er «Petrol heads». Meget hyggelig betjening. Flott beliggenhet men litt tungvint med innkjøring i gamlebyen via låst gate. Ring resepsjonen og få kode så er det ok. Restaurant like utenfor døren med knallgod mat. Kommer gjerne tilbake en annen gang!!
