"We stayed three nights at this hotel. It was an easy walk from the train station (10-15 minutes) and close to many shops and restaurants. We arrived about 90 minutes before check in and were told that our room was not ready (understandable). We weren’t offered the chance to store our bags with the hotel while we waited so we had to drag around our suitcases for a while. We found a nice outdoor cafe attached to the Abbey which was close by so just had a drink there while we waited for our room to be ready. Our room (#5) was bright and had very high ceilings. Lots of storage and a well-equipped bathroom. Clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was on the smaller side but nicely curated with tasty options (coffee, juice, fruit, toast, yogurt, cheeses, sliced meats, pastries etc). They will also cook eggs to order. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"Evening meal is available but booking is necessary. The host prepared asparagus and chicken stuffed with spinach and rice. Continental breakfast was very nice with eggs of your choice if required. The en-suite was very spacious with a very nice large walk in shower. "
